Identifying your physiological reactions to your anxiety only seems like step one of the solution. I feel like I’d identify how my body reacts to these negative things and then go, “Okay… what now?” I understand this identification allows you to separate your mind from these reactions, but that alone is supposed to make you feel better?
The negative feelings of anxiety come from resisting those physiological reactions. From wanting them to go away.
Once you identify that that’s all the feelings are: physiological reactions, neither good nor bad… you can just sit with them and feel better, yeah. Then they fade away because you’re not feeding them with more negative thoughts.
