what do you do every day to make a difference? no matter how small it may be, share.
I mean I think this loosely applies to the definition of making a difference, but I like to make connections with people via my eye contact and body language. I will often just be walking through campus and start just meeting everyone’s gaze as I jam with my iPod. It just feels right to me to make people understand that at least SOMEONE is affirming, albeit faintly, that they exist besides themselves.
I also have noticed that if you really start to groove to your music on a bus, people who are listening to theirs will start to do the same. I’ll be playing air drums and the next thing you know the person across from me will start swaying a little and shaking their head. I love those kinds of subtle connections with people.
I make a difference by existing. The all couldn’t be the all if I wasnt here. I would say that’s pretty profound. In realist terms how do I make a difference? I try to be the best I can be to show others they can also be the best them that they can be. I don’t preach my ways but lead by example which is the most powerful form of communicating ideas to people. Of course I do give information to people but I never (maybe i do? Hard to see anothers side of the picture haha) push ideas in others faces.
