Indian Guy Tripping In the Desert… Now in TROUBLES

Profile photo of  Anonymous (@) 3 years, 6 months ago

Hi,
Most of you have probably seen this video by @lsdlover

Well dear friends, he is now in troubles and we need to find a way to help him, to spread the word.
I wrote this little piece on his behalf, to let people know about this injustice, how the system wi live in is sick and how this war on consciousness is one the biggest threats our civilisation is facing right now.
I wrote this to wake “asleep” people up.

But this is not a fight you win alone, we have to win together and I would like to hear your suggestions about how we can help him.

@martijn, @jordan can you please pass the word around ?

Thank you all !

Here’s the piece :

A few weeks ago a dear friend of mine uploaded a video that went viral on youtube.
He was in the desert. Tripping. On LSD.

It may looks like an odd kind of activity to most of you.

Whatever your opinion on drugs is, you can’t be blind to the sincerity of his message.
Here is a man sharing his deepest thoughts, trying to convey a message incredibly complex yet so simple.
You need to be strong. We are all one. I cannot see any separation.

As an intrepid psychonaut it obvisouly resonated to me. Indeed, we are all made from stardust, we are second-hand people, we are like sheep walking towards the slaughterhouse while thinking we are the Kings of the Earth, we butcher living creatures for some so-called culinary tastes, we indulge in alcohol, tobacco, coffee, sugar to fill the void in our miserable lives, because we are empty, most of us are, On the other hand it is only because most of us don’t have the single clue about what amazing things our brains or minds can do. The funny thing is how many of you believe politicians when they talk about how the war on drugs is effective, how drugs are a bad thing ? I don’t even want to know. You guys are sleeping.
Please wake up, there are people working for the sake of all of us out here.

Who said drugs. Aslinger ?
Let’s be serious for one second, the word “drug” is just semantics but I am not here to spoon-feed you information as I assume you already know in what kind of sick society we live. Otherwise, time to go back to school. How about the University of Life ?
I heard they have some pretty good teachers.

Sick society, sick rules.

My friend is being accused by the Police on whatever charges they could come up with. Because of course spreading love on the Internet is criminal. Probably not, depending on your message I guess.
You know how sensitive people get when they hear the word drugs. It happens that someone got sensitive and complained about the video.

His laptop has been taken away, as I imagine they must looking for some proof.

Police officers bribed his mother to disclose the case also. For an unknown amount. Either 200,000 or 2,000,000 rupees. Either 3400$ or 34,000$.

How insane does the situation look to you ?

Because it is insane.
This is not how the world should be.

Think about it for one second, how can you accuse someone for posting a video spreading universal values of love and happiness ?
Of course he had also been tortured. Insane. Yeah.
Once again, it all comes to this little word : drugs.

Let’s put aside cocaine, heroin and all that, focus on the psychedelic drugs.

I don’t need to bore you with how mind-altering substances had been used for thousands of years, by people way smarter than you and I, and how about science is now slowly catching up with stuff that had been known for eons. Point is, psychedelics are one of the many keys to realizing how you are more than flesh, bones and a brain. Unlocker of the mind, invitation to the cosmic reunion, I cannot express the respect and gratitude I have towards psychedelic drugs and most people who had the privilege to partake in this experience can back me up.

So what would you do if you were my friend ?

Be angry of course.
Because it is unfair.

What else ?
Depressed.
Because you feel like you are the one who has to bear the consequences while only trying to wake other people up.

I would probably feel the same. Have dark thoughts, because that’s what I do. I have little hope for this world as most people seem to enjoy walking like ghosts though this waking dream that life is. It really is a matter of perspective. Try it, you’ll see. I would blame all of you for not seeing what is right in front of your eyes. Because you are sheeps. And dumb ones. While thinking you are smart. Maybe you are, according to the standards of this sick society. I don’t get the point. You are the sick child of a sick mother. You are so sick that you think sickness is normal. And consider what is sane completely insane. This is how dumb you are.

And this how strong my friend is

He is not fighting for himself

He is fighting for you

Until you open your eyes

And see that
The mad man

Was indeed

The wise man

Now spread the message about my friend

Let him know he is not out there fighting alone.

The jist of the post, past most the ranting:

Lsdlover should get a lawyer or something. Renaming his vids and disabling the comments was a good start, but I’m sure youtube has all that stuff logged and backed up. Anywho, hope everything goes well for him.

i want to feel sorry for this guy, as a fellow LSD user and lover, i understand the beauty of what you are saying, but if you are going to be foolish enough to upload a video where you are i) doing illegal drugs, and ii) admit to doing these drugs on video,

and then iii) upload this video to youtube….

then the consequences are on him, that was a very foolish things to do, and to be upset with the authorities for doing their job, when ol’ boi couldve tripped without the video, or, just recorded the video and shared it privately, is not viewing these circumstances from reality,

i empathize with what you are saying, but hands down LSD is currently illegal, and if youre gonna be that guy that tells everyone you are doing something illegal, on youtube, then there will be consequences,

cause/effect common sense, if you do illegal drugs, keep it to yourself, if you dont… well… shit like this happens,

Dear Brother,
Very happy to know you are liberated and free. I admire your candor, honesty and sincerity. The authorities want you to be quiet and cease the advocacy they infer from your video and statements. I have never seen or heard you say “take this, do this, try this.” And if you did I hardly think it would be illegal. Haven’t you discovered your individual ‘soma’ in a synthetic form? Aren’t you really just expressing your spirituality? God bless you, love and peace, may the immutable Brahma guard and protect your every step. Let them sleep.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soma

Chapter 7. Knowledge of the Absolute, Bhagavad-gita

Chapter 7, Verse 14.
This divine energy of Mine, consisting of the three modes of material nature, is difficult to overcome. But those who have surrendered unto Me can easily cross beyond it.
Chapter 7, Verse 15.
Those miscreants who are grossly foolish, lowest among mankind, whose knowledge is stolen by illusion, and who partake of the atheistic nature of demons, do not surrender unto Me.

Chapter 7, Verse 16.
O best among the Bharatas [Arjuna], four kinds of pious men render devotional service unto Me–the distressed, the desirer of wealth, the inquisitive, and he who is searching for knowledge of the Absolute.

Chapter 7, Verse 17.
Of these, the wise one who is in full knowledge in union with Me through pure devotional service is the best. For I am very dear to him, and he is dear to Me.

“Throughout human history, as our species has faced the frightening, terrorizing fact that we do not know who we are, or where we are going in this ocean of chaos, it has been the authorities, the political, the religious, the educational authorities who attempted to comfort us by giving us order, rules, regulations, informing, forming in our minds their view of reality. To think for yourself you must question authority and learn how to put yourself in a state of vulnerable, open-mindedness; chaotic, confused, vulnerability to inform yourself.”
― Timothy Leary

Admit it. You aren’t like them. You’re not even close. You may occasionally dress yourself up as one of them, watch the same mindless television shows as they do, maybe even eat the same fast food sometimes. But it seems that the more you try to fit in, the more you feel like an outsider, watching the “normal people” as they go about their automatic existences. For every time you say club passwords like “Have a nice day” and “Weather’s awful today, eh?”, you yearn inside to say forbidden things like “Tell me something that makes you cry” or “What do you think deja vu is for?”. Face it, you even want to talk to that girl in the elevator. But what if that girl in the elevator (and the balding man who walks past your cubicle at work) are thinking the same thing? Who knows what you might learn from taking a chance on conversation with a stranger? Everyone carries a piece of the puzzle. Nobody comes into your life by mere coincidence. Trust your instincts. Do the unexpected. Find the others…”
― Timothy Leary

1984

douïbleïthink (‘d&-b&l-“thi[ng]k), noun, Date: 1949 : a simultaneous belief in two contradictory ideas.
doublethink – Reality Control. The power to hold two completely contradictory beliefs in one’s mind simultaneously, and accept both of them. An excellent example of doublethink in modern society is the war on drugs. If you ask people their opinion on alcohol prohibition in the 1920s, most people would agree that it was a complete failure. People agree that it only caused more crime, it made gangsters rich, it corrupted politicians, and most importantly … it didn’t keep people from drinking.

Here is how Winston Smith described doublethink in the novel:
“To know and not to know, to be conscious of complete truthfulness while telling carefully constructed lies, to hold simultaneously two opinions which cancelled out, knowing them to be contradictory and believing in both of them, to use logic against logic, to repudiate morality while laying claim to it, to believe that democracy was impossible and that the Party was the guardian of democracy, to forget whatever it was necessary to forget, then to draw it back into memory again at the moment when it was needed, and then promptly to forget it again: and above all, to apply the same process to the process itself. That was the ultimate subtlety: consciously to induce unconsciousness, and then, once again, to become unconscious of the act of hypnosis you had just performed. Even to understand the word ‘doublethink’ involved the use of doublethink.’

facecrime – Orwell’s definition : “It was terribly dangerous to let your thoughts wander when you were in any public place or within range of a telescreen. The smallest thing could give you away. A nervous tic, an unconscious look of anxiety, a habit of muttering to yourself — anything that carried with it the suggestion of abnormality, of having something to hide. In any case, to wear an improper expression on your face (to look incredulous when a victory was announced, for example) was itself a punishable offence. There was even a word for it in Newspeak: facecrime, it was called.”

you’re arrogant, thats why you felt the need to post this for the world. you think your words are profound, and you think this justifies everything, but the reality is, nothing you said hasnt been said before by millions of people,

you also arent the only one who has done acid. your arrogance is displayed by the need for others to see how insightful you are, if this was not true, you would have felt no need to share, or, shared only with a few people, but no, you felt everyone needed to hear your wise words

you are a fool to think you can do something illegal, post it on the web, and expect no repercussions. and you are a fool in this case because you think you are justified, when the only justification you have is that you think your msg actually mattered,

arrogant foolishness got you in trouble, not the these ‘unfair laws’, or the police, or the evil society, arrogant foolishness

[Hidden]
Profile photo of Tine
Tine (366) (@tine) 3 years, 5 months ago ago

salute yourself all you want, pat yourself on the back for stepping outside of your box, but the truth is, you wanted everyone to know you did acid, you could have just as easily recorded your trip, then made a video on the insights you had. you did not do this, and this says a lot

i do, but, his need for others to pay attention to him is going to get him into a huge amount of trouble, i dont care what he does,

i only care that he is fucking up his life and rationalizing it, this means he will likely do it again,

and as someone who has a felony, i want to, at the very least, paint a picture of this reality for those who dont,

so they can see what they are messing with

I preached his message without being on LSD and was spit on. It’s way more than using illegal drugs and people not tolerating you. When you reach that state of vulnerability and get kicked by everyone that is still scared it’s only going to make you believe more. You don’t believe me?

I bet my life on this thread already. Let’s wait for his reply.

Stop calling people arrogant just because you fucked up not being sincere with people.

And how are you even helping?

[Hidden]

you preached his msg in a angry way, this is why people ‘spit’ on you, but let me clarify,

i) i have no problem with his msg, ii) i have no problem with the fact he did acid, in fact, i think everyone should, iii) and in the end, i have no problem with him fucking up his life,

the only thing i care about is this, he posted this video on yourtube, and is now facing legal trouble, and the way this is being rationalize is,

the laws are wrong, the police are wrong, society is wrong,

no, he was wrong, he shouldnt have done that, and his excuse that its ok bc its a positive message is just that, an excuse,

that is not reality, reality is he is now facing legal problems bc he felt his message was so profound that everyone had to hear it,

^thats the only thing i am talking about, and i would appreciate it if you are going to convo with me that you come at me with what i said, not what you think i said

from the sound of it, i have a very good perspective on this,

do you want to go to jail ? do you want a felony on your record ? I have done both, you do not want this. Possession of or distribution of LSD is a Class A felony in most states, that means i) prison time, that means ii) no more financial aid for school because of a felony drug charge, that means iii) most companies will not hire you, the list goes on and on and on,

and im scared for you, because you have found a way to rationalize this without viewing the long term, hard core consequences that you may face,

and if you justify this, it will make it easier for you to be foolish in the future. let the reality sink in at the very least and promise me you wont be foolish in the future like this,

you are fucking with your entire life here, do it in secret, do it privately, be smart man

and here is the worst thing, you are now on their radar, even if you do not get charged and are able to escape any consequences,

they view your video on youtube as a major negative social influence designed to ‘corrupt children’, you are now on a list somewhere, this will not be forgotten,

be very careful how you proceed.

I dont know what they can charge him with. Yes, he was on a drug that by, law is illegal, but is that enough to come after someone after the fact? Can you really get put on trial because you were on a drug, say 2 weeks ago? I think that is complete bullshit. What proof can they actually put together? He could of been some guy faking, you know?

I don’t know anything about India & their drug policy but the “war on drugs” is so stupid. There are so many other bigger issues in the world to deal with. The problem with the government & drugs is that they can’t figure out a way to get their hands in the mix, in a “moral” way. They can’t tax drug deals. Drug dealers are making untaxed money & they have a problem with that. And of course the need to control citizens is a major issue that I can go on for days about.

But thank you for raising awareness. I tried to look up information about this but i can only find people talking about the actual video & then I found your post on reddit. I’m so tired of our freedom being taken away. I hope he gets off the hook.

as to the charges, I know that in the US you can’t be charged for being high, its the same way that you cannot be charged for being in a state of mind. The only way they could charge him is if they have him in possession of a drug or something like that. Charging someone for being high becomes discriminatory as it charges someone for being a type of person, i.e. an addict. Its the same reasoning that prevents laws strictly against one type of person. But this is all law for the US, it could very well be different in India. We complain very much about our legal system, but we still have infinitely more protection than many other countries, hell most other countries around the world.

And secondly, I agree with you so damn much about the drug war. It just doesn’t make sense when you step back and look at it. Okay so why are drugs illegal in the first place? Because they are bad for you. Okay, I suppose I can see why making that illegal would seem good. But then when you start this drug war which causes so many more deaths and injuries than any of the drugs they are supposedly fighting against, you have to question the validity of making drugs illegal.

The only real reason I can see for it is, like you said, the need to control citizens. Once something that greatly facilitates, and even unlocks, the opening of people’s minds out there and widely used, governments become very, very scared.

How very unfortunate, he seemed quite happy go lucky, mirthful and somewhat innocent. Suffice to say that Big Brother is alive and real. Social networking sites are a wealth of data mining for the three letter agencies.

I might also say that “High Existence” is an ambiguity and does also allude to enlightenment and advanced thinking, not just drugs, their use and properties.

In intelligence gathering organizations, people caught up in their web are classified according to political associations, level of education, personal associates, and virtually any information that contributes to profiling. According to these data, you then are categorized into another sub-group (politically active, drug user, chemist, former or current Army, Navy, Marine, Air Force and attendant specialities, medical and psychiatric history, etc. It’s essentially anything and everything. Everyone is a suspect until (when and if) they are removed from an investigation applying a process of elimination using categories, classifications, stereotypes, organizations, affiliations, criminal records or lack thereof. The National Security Agency (a member of the 5 Eyes)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UKUSA_Agreement

are constantly monitoring and recording every form of electronic communication, including radio, morse, teletype, fax and all manner of telephony. These agencies work closely (share) with Interpol and virtually any country conducting investigations of criminality. Since the advent of the terrorist September 11 2001 debacle, the USA has assiduously folded and combined many such agencies that originally had a charter/aegis which precluded their independent abilities to share collaborations in investigations.

I suspect LSD Lover got swept up in a larger operation/investigation that seeks to establish evidence that leads to a supplier, that would then lead to a manufacturer, and then to an enlarged query base of organized crime. It’s a type of interrogation known as “sweating.”

Oh and as an aside, I guess you are aware that the entirety of your contributions are to be found in your Profile-Activities. This cornucopia is a smorgasbord of insight should some Heathen fall under the purview of a Forensic Psychologist.
