I guess I’m not the only one around who likes to learn something new and different every day.
But sometimes I don’t have the creativity or the intelligence to go and find topics to learn.
So, can we have a thread where we go through several things to learn, both in the internetz or out in the real world?
Here are some ideas off the top of my head. Hopefully this gets the ball rolling
-Why is it important to be a good person even if everyone else doesn’t care how nice you are?
-Which is a more universal language and why? Mathematics or Music.
-The internet has an amazing amount of information, and an equally amazing amount of false or useless information. What are some ways to tell the difference? How do you get the most out of the information on the internet?
You can learn something from “indirect” way. For example instead of learning, we should do something new everyday.
And by doing it, we learn something new.
We can eat something we have never eat before and then learn how it tastes.
We can do a new activity and discover-learn how this works.
Fact that really makes you think
Both Lincoln and Kennedy attempted to print different money than was printed by the Federal Reserve and both were assassinated.
Parkour looks fucking awesome and that’s something I want to learn to do
@dukevonschmot, More universal language? I vote math because there are so many different types of music and you can have a person who loves reggae and the next person hates it (yea thats a weird person but still haha) but music is just so different now a days with sooo many genres
Try incorporating meditation into your morning routine! Personally, it allows me to be much more relaxed and receptive the rest of the day, which can be crucial when you’re trying to learn something new every day.
@francina, true and i have realized my opening my mind to other music that a lot of times they are talking about really similar things just with different tones and words, but all leading back to the same meaning and empowerment they want to bring to the people
