there are a lot of good topics about suggestions and of course "the good damn music list", but what I’m actually really missing is:

"Here’s a great album, compilation, EP, … worth checking out. Give it a try, even it might not be the kind of music you normally listen to [,yet :)]"

I’m sure you all can agree, that there’s so much great music out we haven’t found out that we like it, yet. Maybe we can help each other to discover new facets of our music taste, doesn’t matter if its rock, rap, techno, classic, instrumental, african drums, ….

Another music thread…

I’m starting to see why people say the site has gone downhill.

So let me begin:

Nicolas Repac – Swing Swing
Modern electronic interpretation of Swing music

De La Soul
De La Soul’s first album from 1989. Three young guys enjoy making fresh intelligent rap music.

John Digweed – Bedrock 10 Past Present Future
3 cd compilation of progressive electronic dance music from one of the best DJ’s John Digweed

I don’t think downhill…. May just need some more… Organization.

Try the new Disturbed album, Asylum. Some good tunes there.

@manimal Start a good thread, I’ll try after I’m done watching Examined Life.

@sebastian Wagner Check out The Age of the Understatement by The Last of the Shadow Puppets, full of good songs.

some threads don’t belong on this site, and it does seem to be getting more and more irrelevant, but i wouldn’t say the site has gone downhill.
heres a nice hip hop track, thought provoking too.

stereolab – margarine eclipse is a really melodic, quirky neo psychedelic record. its cool because it sounds modern, while maintaining a 60’s hippie vibe. check it out.
