I do it like twice a week. But I do it like 3 times in a row. So I guess thats 6 times a week. Shit.

I decided against it for three reasons…
1) I think I have an over abundance of sexual energy.
2) I don’t like the idea of not exercising any part of my body.
3) I get some coagulation of the semen and I have reason to be concerned that the pipes will clog up and bad things will happen.
FYI, I didn’t break down and rationalize not doing it; I never started.

Always been a PMO addict,10 years roughly,sometimes upto 6 times a day and definately the lust for more and more extreme stuff keeps increasing as the time goes on just to satisfy that crazy itch that says wait keep goin on till you get to the extremes of getting what you want the fucking vicious circle keeps on and on
Its like the most exiting part of your day lol.

4 days in, feel way more concious on all levels, real , meditation is way more amazing its like you can channelize that powerful sexual energy to energise some cells in the body which need more energy to have that equilibrium balance effect.

But yea, the brain keeps asking for it its like someone died very real, whats been helping in this is classifying the day into a schedule and sticking to it to the tee.

Lets kill this shit lads, its nice to see so many people on this.

so far I’m 16 days in. It’s going pretty easy now, still haven’t had any really big urges I had to resist. Although I wouldn’t mind watching some porn right now but fuck it, not gonna do it.
I can’t really remember how I felt when I still did PMO, but now I look at girls in a pretty innocent way ;p I don’t start thinking about sex nearly as much as I used to
But is everyone going back to their old ways after the 30 days? I’m gonna give up porn. But masturbating I’m not sure yet. In any case, I first have to experience the real deal, and like Supermonk said, have mercy on the girl

2 days in, so many urges. But I’m keeping productive, a lot more so than I have ever been before. Since I am a producer/DJ I have been able to sort ALL of my songs 90,000+ files, make 2 mixes and start producing. Onto day 3

@rory The fourth day is often the decisive day when getting over an addiction. If you get over that hump, it should be easier from there on.

I think it is important to get the whole concept behind this exercise.
Its not about giving up sex for 30 days and suddently adopt celibacy.
Its about qutting Porn, beating off to porn sexting , beating off to technological kink generating overwhelming stimulus for singles.
For those of you involved in a relationship may be get to the next step of non ejaculatory sex, deeper connections with partners and not just revolving around the big O .
Any kind of flirting, connections bonding in the real world which may or may not lead to sex should be a part of this overall experience, which i think would ultimately make us believe and trust, the beauty of life as an overall experience and dump porn with poo where it belongs.

So I am on day 12 of no porn, but only day 5 of no masturbating (I couldn’t help it on day 8). Here are some things I have noticed:
– I’ve been getting started with my day much earlier
– I am less of a sloth in the mornings (i used to wackoff to pron every morning before starting my day)
– I have less spontaneous erections throughout the day
– I still think about sex a good amount, but not as much

The weirdest, but oddly most enjoyable change i noticed was after I finished going through a lot of the pics and videos here: “http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/swimsuit/”

Instead of getting super horny and immediately wanting to jackoff, I got super interested and engaged by the girls on the site. I was appreciating their beauty and the beauty of each picture. While I enjoyed looking at their amazing bodies and faces, it wasn’t in a sexual way. I guess I just feel less of a complete total hornball perv.

I’m on schedule. If you focus on passionate activities throughout the day, it will be much easier to not get the urge. Also, if you’re walking to malls or public places, you are bombarded by sexual stuff which triggers sexual urges. Being present and noticing how outside things influence you and your body shows clearly how susceptible you are to outside things. Stop being a reactive robot and employ your free will.

i think everything from sports cars to cigarette advertisements is based on sex and it must give tremendous subconsious stimulation to people who live in cities. impossible to avoid that. but it is good to be aware of it. if you live in the countryside do something natural like going out and digging the garden up, that will put you in touch with the biggest woman of all times. our own mother earth. she sustains us year in and year out. you could want to sit under a tree and feel the life of spring surging in your veins, feel your own life force thru out your entire body. not just between your legs.. send that amazing energy up into your head!!! let it flow guys on a mulitleveled energy trip!

Thats exactly what i try during meditation,sexual energy is the most powerful energy inside us all ,90% of people flow it outwards most of the time but really mastering it to flow it inwards towards healing or energizing-what a concept at thought.
Killed the saturday evening ugre with a sprint workout finshing it with 2lb mashed potatoes , lil bit salmon and ice cold lager.
Aah,whats missing spa+massage,asian lady……. Lets stop the fantasy!

Hey everyone, this challenge is awesome because it got me to think about something that just became part of my life. I woke up. It amazes me how much something can influence you and not even be aware of it. I read some articles and am convinced porn is not for me. I like the idea of rewiring your brain to naturally enjoy masturbation in moderation :)

@ John-I am also on day 12 & notice almost the exact same things you listed except I have a lot of morning erections.

I think there are a few keys to surviving this challenge:
1) Avoid triggers (i.e. surfing the internet in an empty room with nothing better to do)
2) Exercise- It’s physically and mentally healthy
3) Stay busy- Distract yourself from thinking about your primal cravings and focus on using your energy to achieve things you have not been able to do for a long time.
4) Talking with others may or may not help depending on the person but it certainly seems it does do good to have someone holding you accountable.

Keep up the good work!…or in this case keep down the….nevermind

I found myself almost automatically downloading/surfing for porn today. Got home from work, had to look a couple things up on-line, and just drifted over to porn. I caught myself looking through some stuff, and the thought to masturbate came to the forefront very quickly.

While I resisted the urge, I still ended up watching porn so I am back to square one as well. 13 days in and now back to 1. Damn internet…
