Positive Energy

I’ve been thinking a lot about positive energy and happiness recently, and I have come to the conclusion that happiness, which is positive energy, attracts other positive energy, leading to increased happiness. This is why optimists seem to have good things happen to them all the time.

In case this isn’t true, I’ve also made a deal with god. I told him that in exchange for creating and channeling positive energy into the universe, I want to have positive energy attracted to me. God has since changed the rules of the universe to match our exchange.

Wouldn’t the positive energy be attracted to the negative energy to reach an equilibrium in the universe?
Or does your theory suggest that both charges attract their respected charge, until there are just two massive positive and negative charges?

I guess it’s up to you. You could shoot positive energy out of your palm for I know.

It’s the light that helps us get through the darkness. It’s the good energy that helps us cope with the negative. :}

@jonnyiscool, law of attraction is a fascinating concept. I think positive or negative experiences find you for a reason, yet there are the occasions where I don’t understand why bad things happen to good people. Whatever the explanation is behind this obscure concept, keep up the good vibes.

Actually, I think splurting out positive energy eventually attract more positive energy, but in a much smaller scale than we could expect. By logic, is someone alway have a positive attitude, helps other, do good deed, then his surrounding will also give back positivity, as their will be no (or less) reasons to. You don’t insult the guy who come at work, smile on his face, saying ”Hey, I brought brownies for y’all!” .

Where the real difference is should be on the way you see things. Bad things and experience will happen, that is for sure. Some less, some more. Bringing brownies at work will not stop life of making a 18-wheel smash your mother into a exagerrated deep canyon. But when you are incline towards good thoughts, you get over things more easily. But on top of it, when you are positive, then bad experience serve you as learning phase. There is something to be learned from everything that happens to you. The worse it is, the more the is to learn.

So when you’re optimist, or you have memorable life-fullfilling good experience, or you have learning phase that make you progress as a person. It pretty cool, you should try it.

I agree with positive energy “attracting” more positive energy in the sense that energy, positive or negative is contagious. We are constantly influenced by the world around us. It is ultimately up to ourselves though, to choose our own attitude and outlook on life.

I think it’s much simpler than that. Optimists find themselves in better situations because, well, they’re optimistic.

Suffering is usually self-created, it is a wall we build around ourselves. Those that indulge in a life of suffering suddenly make such a life real. It’s all perspective. If we are happier and give off more positive vibes, we are in a sense already suffering less and our words and actions force this reality to persist, so in a way more positive things begin to happen.

You can’t go around drop kicking people and punching kittens and expecting good things to happen. You go wave to people passing by and walk on through your trouble with a smile and suddenly people and positive situations are magnetized towards you. In a way it only makes sense.

Just a thought.
