What’s the most positive thing we can say if we are secretly hoping that something incredible is going to happen on December 21, 2012; but then that day just rolls by without anything major happening?
This will be a day where around the world people from every country will fantasize about any possible ways this world could change. The start of any “thing” comes from the idea of it. If you choose to view this as something major, then it is. I don’t expect anything crazy to happen, but there will be a lot of people from around the world thinking about the same thing, positive change, which I think is majorly cool. This is not a moment that everyone is expecting it to be, it is a gradual shift that I believe someday down the road, will result in humans realizing that we are all part of same team.
@oreilly, to answer your question directly- probably that they believed in something for a while, and lived life in the moment thinking that they had an expiry date. For the record I don’t believe anything will come of that day, but it may be kind of fun to live the next 6 days like it were my last 6, I guess what I’d do in those 6 days is what I’ve wanted to do all along.
I can’t say there’s much evidence for a supernatural event like alien contact, galaxy alignment, dimension traveling or w/e else. But as Will said, I hope it marks a turning of the age, where people realize cooperation and innovation are what we need to progress. My biggest hope is that it’s an evolution of consciousness, and that each person can look into the eyes of another and know that we are one.
@adamm0ss, I like your question lol
And as for me, I’ve been preaching a change for some time, but I don’t believe something will happen on this day. But is always possible.
I just really hope something happens. We need a change. I hope the world come to an end. Seriously lol. Its the push we would need
@will2goman, I totally agree! It’s just the beginning of a new cycle, hopefully leading higher. When you graduate high school or something, it’s a notable ‘end of an era’, but you don’t explode or anything..the next day you go on with your life, it’s just “different.” The life changes & personal growth that a person goes through (beginning after they graduate high school) are very subtle, and don’t happen in one day–yet it can be a symbol for the first step moving toward adulthood. I think it’s like that…it’s just the first day of the rest of our lives. :)
@blankey, although I believe you are right (I didn’t bother to watch the video), conciseness could still work given their text at the bottom. Having said this I think you are correct in suggesting that they meant to put consciousness. The two words look very different to me so not sure how they would confuse them.
@oreilly, The flying man is going to land and solve all our problems for us, or throw a giant space rock at us and he`ll erase all our mistakes; the important thing is that we won`t have to contemplate and learn from our errors and harmonize our existence.
