So, its pretty straightforward. What exactly are they and do they compare to the real thing at all? I’ve really never heard of them until recently.. apparently they’re legal and don’t show up on drug tests…? any answers would be awesome
i only know what i hear but I’ve heard they are like bath salts and incense sold in stores as herbal incense or plant food and they put do not eat on the package and stuff so it fits into the FDA laws so they can sell it i don’t know about the whole drug testing thing but u can get synthetic marijuana but its called k2 or spice… they also don’t put cannabis exactly in it but a close chemical substitute
well there’s a lot more synthetic drugs goin around besides the fake ganja. nowadays there’s pretty much a chemical analogue for almost any drug out there. almost like mescaline is to peyote. there’s synthetic Ketamine called MXE, u can get too many to name probably for different kinds of chemical makeups for E that haven’t had time to be fully researched or mainstream discovered yet so there’s no laws against them.. yet.
from my experience, it’s always 100% to have the real deal, even if u get more fucked up from the analogue. they’re all really new so long-term studies n ingestion hasn’t been experimented with yet so who knows what they could do to you. just my opinion
synthetics are bad news.
mary jane, and mushrooms. case closed.
although LSD, and MDMA shouldnt be discriminated against. They are well researched.
These synthetic drugs are hardly even known about. So people are having some very scary reactions to them.
You got your psychedelic naturals:
And you have your synthetic counterparts
The first list is the most awesome. Everything else which just combines chemicals like Ketamine, meth, and other amphetamines I try to stay away from.
Oh, and you are not a noob: Peyote is the term used to describe a special breed of cacti consumption. There are a handful of cacti that, if you ingest either their flesh or “buttons” that form on them, will create a hallucinogenic effect similar to what you might find from the others on the list.
Also, if you are unfamiliar with ayahuasca, that is a brew created using a plant that contains naturally-occurring DMT mixed with another root that has natural MAOi’s or (Mono oxidase inhibitors). The latter allows your body to ingest the DMT without premature digestion, such that you can obtain the ‘trip.’
Also, what @bigred said about the other two synthetics not mentioned here is legit reading. I have played with half of that list and was thoroughly certain of its risk and reward beforehand.
@mangos16, you live in the US? If so, there are suprisingly easy ways of obtaining peyote. I mean…it’s a cactus. There are places in some parts of the US that still can legally sell it for one reason or another (certain indian ‘churches’ can legally buy and ingest it without even having to report that they use it on official government documents). Try researching a little bit on which specific breeds you would want. Some you can just eat the flesh of the cactus, others have those little buttons you can chew up or brew into a tea or something. Lots of options on that one.
Ayahuasca, however, is a tad more difficult. First of all, getting the stuff seems difficult mainly because the natural plants used are not really found in the US legally. If you ever go on a trip to a place that grows the stuff, you might actually be able to find a shaman that could regulate your trip for you. Aside from that, if you DO manage to get ahold of some of the two aforementioned ingredients, there are detailed instructions on certain websites which can inform you on exactly how to brew up some (all I recall off of the top of my head is it need to boil for 24 hrs).
One thing you need to know: ayahuasca with an MAOi = death if you are not careful.. Your body uses MAO to digest other foods that we typically eat, so if you start inhibiting the MAO’s and eat food which REQUIRES MAOs to digest the food, you will basically be removing the filter from your body and allowing poison to seep in. People have died because they were not careful.
My advice: Start with shrooms. Start with a small amount of them. They are really easy to get and you could even grow them yourself if you were interested in savvy enough. After that, up the ante on the shrooms. From there, go towards to bigger guns, preferably peyote. Save ayahuasca for that exact right time and make sure you are prepared for it.
@bigred, OH I forgot about morning glory seeds.
There’s another one, @mangos16.
LSA is a really similar chemical to LSD in terms of the way it affects your brain. It comes from chewing up a flower’s seed, one type of seed commonly referred to as Morning Glory. I tried some of those…got nothing at all, not even nausea (didn’t have but like 2-3 though).
@bigred, I hear that there are ways to avoid feeling nauseous with those seeds, man. Something like chewing them but not shallowing or something. The guy that gave me some said that that was the best way to avoid it. Aren’t they, chemically, similar? I mean…LSD V LSA…just one letter off, and I assume that the first two words are the same. i don’t feel like Googling that though, so if you do let me know whether or not I am right.
Anyway, what I really wanna get myself is some peyoteeeeeeee.
I would be thrilled to have some of that…Indians said they talked to their spirit guardians and stuff like that while smoking it. Smoking isn’t even that efficient, so ingestion would probably be the Shizzz.
@mangos16 haha cactus with psychoactive properties. but if you’re interested in drugs that go beyond weed i would stick with psychedelics. do your research, don’t jump into things. you’ve got to have a great respect for these drugs and know what moderation is if you expect a good trip. LSD is great.
@lytning91, Although lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD) is derived from lysergic acid amides (LSA) and therefore is structurally similar, they’re still very different compounds. LSD is much, much stronger and active at very low dosages. LSA isn’t very psychoactive at all and when you get to the levels that it is (like 500 morning glory seeds), it’s not very pleasant (as @bigred, has mentioned) and considerably weaker. The best that I’ve heard of it is a dreamy feeling.
This is an example where the synthetic is wayyy better than the natural.
@sisyphus, well Morning Glory seeds are not the only seed (and also not the best) for getting LSA. Hawaiian Baby Woodrose seeds only require between 4-8 for a ‘normal’ dose of LSA, and that number is a LOT better for the so-called nausea that @bigred mentioned. I can’t really comment on the strength because I tried something else, but I imagine that the effect would be nice coming from such a condensed source.
@lytning91, doing drugs is stupid and I’m fine if people choose to do them. if you only got to drive 1 car for the rest of your life you would be careful with it right? you wouldn’t go piss in the gas tank and red line it every chance you got. same rules for our body you only get one and while doing drugs is fun i don’t think its worth the risk of seriously messing yourself up. Same with fast food and half the crap we do to ourselves. I’m all for legalizing drugs though because it will actually lower the amount of people using them look up Portugal decriminalization of drugs… point I’m making is it America and you should have the choice to do drugs but drugs are unhealthy and can kill you. unless your for killing yourself or are willing to trade in a few years for and acid trip then go ahead because the less drug users there are less crime.
@rowlanry, “if you only got to drive 1 car for the rest of your life you would be careful with it right?”
Well, maybe that’s the problem here…you’re using a car and I’m using a spaceship.
Moderation my friend. Life is best when in balance. What I said above aside, and focusing on your car analogy — why not push your car? Nobody recommends trying to fall into the rabbit hole or say go 150 miles per hour everywhere in your car but if you’re so cautious you may not reach possible capabilities.
Point being, there are benefits of some drugs, just as there are negatives. The choice is only yours to make…unless you can’t say no to peer pressure. For some people, let’s take this analogy and say when they are stuck in traffic, a “drug” is beneficial and they may see a plan to get out quicker and more efficiently as possible. For others, it may do the opposite. I’m not saying to do drugs, encouraging them or discrediting anyone who doesn’t do them. Some people drive their cars very safely, some wild and crazy, some a blend…and afterall, nobody likes a backseat driver telling them what to do, right? ;]
@ojai, lol im less like a back seat driver and more like a road sign saying “you go thata way this will happen you go the other way that will happen” i would like to know what the benefits to drugs are. im not saying there aren’t any i just dont know about them. i understand some drug use for people who actually the benefits are worth it like aids or cancer victims. and too cautions is bad and so it wild and crazy. your right is all about balance and if were just talking about drugs then yes every once in a awhile wouldn’t hurt to much but its not just about drugs its about your whole human body and all the things we do to mess it up. if you were perfectly healthy and did every thing right then marijuana wouldn’t be too much worse than smoking (which is almost completely pointless) but most people don’t. smoking usually is accompanied by laziness high MSG consumption (Doritos) its more harmful to your lungs than smoking or just as bad add all those to already high corn syrup diets with a lot of red meat an in-activeness which may also mix with lack of sleep and “mind training” (things that keep your mind healthy like reading or just thinking) smoking pot just seems like another strain on you physical and mental physique. the benefits of living longer having more energy can breath easier don’t smell bad all the time and have that extra money from not buying weed seem better than getting high with some friends and having fun but also hurting yourself in the long run. there is a fine line between balance and stupid. one common argument is that they do it to experience life but by doing the daily things we don’t even know are unhealthy or don’t care to change and smoking pot, your actually experiencing less life because of the life your losing when u smoke
