One of the most beautiful songs I have heard lately is a remix of the theme song from Inception. Here’s a link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Se5NBKNcsy4
What songs/artists do you love?
If anyone likes this song, please tell me so I’m not alone :)
@amandafellman, I’ve been lost in her character for months now. I love the song Trash, Last Girl On Earth, Summertime Sadness… pretty much everything. People diss her bc she’s so depressing and flighty but I just love how she embodies all that pain and seduction. lol.
That Hans Zimmer Remix is awesome! Check these out if you haven’t heard them

The Pines of Rome by Resphigi, performed by the Stuttgart Radio Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Georges Pretre. The fourth movement can be seen and heard here:
Positively amazing! Check it out.
For if this isn’t already posted (in which case I would be severely disappointed in the HE community :P), here’s my favourite song from my favourite band: No Surprises by Radiohead.
A silent plea for peace, for a break from our fast paced chaotic lives, an exhaustedly silent scream for all of the shit the world can throw at you. It is one of the most meaningful songs for our society I know, beautifully capturing our sense of being overwhelmed and lost in the facades and charades in modern society.
No surprises is a sigh of the soul. It is not angry or frustrated with the world, it is tired and exhausted. The music feels so fragile it almost hurts, and the lyrics are pure poetry, you should definitely check them out!
Sorry for the long introduction but this song really means a lot to me. Without further ado, here is No Surprises <3
