Hello, I have a question about vibrations. I hear it in regard to positive and negative vibrations. Creative energy vibrations. Collective vibrations. Bodily vibrations. Healing Vibrations. Psudoscience vibrations. I swear I hear about this all of the time. Maybe I am missing something here. Are people trying to use the word as a description of “spiritual energy”? I have read it in books, heard people mention it here and elsewhere, and I usually try to back away from that term because I’m not sure if it’s new age, science fact or just a description for lack of a better term. If you have anything to add to this then please comment. Just let me know if you want me to be more specific.
P.S. I’m not referring to particle/energy duality, or “vibing” with people. But perhaps there is a relation?

All energy is oscillation, everything consists of energy, that’s where this stuff comes from.

“Vibrations” can mean anything, because everything vibrates.

“Spiritual” stuff is just a description for lack of a better term, people notice something that they don’t recognize/understand and they label it “spiritual” or “otherworldly” or whatever, but that’s just their labels. There is no other world of spirits, everything is right here. Everything is spirit, and nothing is spirit, because the whole damn idea of spirits is just an attempt to try to describe stuff one doesn’t understand.

It’s outdated and ridiculous. Spirits are a figment of the imagination.

@manimal, Yeah I can understand what you mean. I have been trying to understand what people mean by giving the benefit of the doubt that vibrations were referring to something verifiable. But as a descriptive word I guess it could be used as a feeling hmm? Hahah but I do think the fact that everything vibrates is what is intended, I don’t know if that energy can be manipulated to send out loving energy or whatnot because I don’t know how that could be possible.

I’m not sure this relates… but when you hear ringing in your ears are you hearing vibration around you?
