My boyfriend and I recently travelled to Germany. We went to a castle in Cochem and there were what looked like to be orbs in a few of the pictures. There was also a picture where my boyfriend is surrounded in what looks like fog, but there was no fog in that area. What are your opinions on orbs or haunted places?
Also, If there is a way to post pictures in a discussion post let me know and I can post them.
It’s usually just light hitting dust motes in a particular way. Old castles and stuff like that are usually full of dust.
Some “orbs” are caused by reflective objects, sometimes even water.
There’s also errors in the the camera that can cause “orbs.” Analog camera film sometimes has this defect in it, and digital cameras glitch up in all sorts of weird ways.
The whole orbs thing is just a myth, made by “ghost hunters,” it’s bullshit like that that allow them to make money off of nothing.
@imagination115, We have a video camera in our apartment complex that over looks the parking lot. One night we were looking at the image from the camera and saw a round white thing floating around. We went out to the parking lot where we had seen it on the camera and it was not there. We cleaned off the camera and when we returned we could still see it floating on the screen . It wasn’t visible to the naked eye, but we could see it on camera. It was really strange thing to see and kind of creeped us all out!
