Geoff Thompson on Success Without Suffering

So many people are looking for success without suffering but, is it possible?

Pretty sure what he is referring to in regard to ‘falling out of alignment’ he is referencing experiences of ingrained ego habits. Even if one succeeds in setting the ego aside, we all carry reactive emotional habits accumulated by the ego over the course our lives. As he says, ‘you don’t know you do it’, which indicates a programmed response adopted by the ego to react to any given situation. It is almost as hard to overcome ego habits as it is to overcome the ego itself. The only books I have ever read that ever cogently discussed ego habits are Demystifying the Mystical and Navigating into the Second Cognition by Endall Beall.
