You look across the street because your experiences and been conditioned to look across the street. Cause and effect.

      So you believe in fate?

The way I see it: You were meant to get hit by a car at that moment. But the way it happens depends on the actions you take. For example, I could get hit by a car that ran a red light or I can get hit by a car for not thinking and walking across the street without looking. In one I had no control over the situation and in the other I did and then I look dumb because I’m the idiot who crossed the street without looking.

I got rear ended by an old woman doing 40MPH. I broke the seats, bounced over 2 lanes of traffic and hit someone oncoming(in the side), I looked up into the mirror, saw her coming and tensed up(BRICK FUCKING WALL!!!), breaking the seats as they came unto me…..for this, i have been tensed for a week, and not DEAD. looking at the wreckage, shoulda died….just saying…
