Wow….this was my school experience, to a “T”. I wish I could do it all over again.

This sucks. It degrades the working class to nothing more than objects. People of it are necessary and doing well in school is not a bad thing. You can be a worker AND an artist. Following your dreams is wonderful, this comic is not.

I think you are missing the point entirely.

Following your dreams IS wonderful, but she is saying she never had any dreams because everything was work focused and she never took the time to have a life dream. This has left her feeling like a robot who has simply been doing as she was told -what was expected of her- in the production line of life.

      I think you’re wrong

the education system is degrading the working class. the very existence of “a working class” (in opposition to an iddle class who enjoy the fruit of mass labor) is degrading.

She sure didn’t word it too great then, did she? Literally describing workers as slaves is not a good thing to do.

        • Patrick (8) August 15, 2013

I’m pretty sure describing workers as “slaves” (although the term was “slave to the system”) is fairly accurate.

I myself am a worker, I would not be described as “working class” but I am never the less, sat at work, as an worker.

I am being paid to be here just like any other worker and I am always fulfilled with a sense of slavery. My tasks may not be to build houses or mend roofs but I still must engage in an activity that benefits not myself but other people so that I can be provided with the means to exist coherently in a system that was designed not to benefit me.

Its really sad to see this. High existence is a database in which people who want to think freely can come and find similar minds or spread their ideas. If you dont agree with this comic then click on the back button and leave it alone but putting your negative feelings towards a beautiful created comic(no matter what the topic its an amazing comic with creative art) is not cool. Trolling is for youtube and people who believe their negativity has a place in this world.
