I would suggest roaming meetup.com. There are plenty of tribes there although Americans call them groups, social clubs, or communities of purpose.
true, but, if only it were that easy. It seems to me finding people to share a deep connection with is akin to finding a needle in a haystack.
Agreed. Unfortunately, many of us allow too many negative people into our lives (Facebook for example) and it distracts us from seeking out / attracting “the tribe”
I would definitely have to agree with that, I feel like Facebook and too much social media has us comparing ourselves constantly and it does allow a lot of inconsequential people to have a huge influence on how we feel, when that influence should be saved for the people around us that are really on our side.
We can use social media for good! That, I promise you :) There are great tribes out there on the web.
Yes, that is true sometimes, Uzi! However, Facebook can be a great tool for finding like-minded people. Our self-love tribe on Facebook is an incredible safe space where many people have found the courage to be more authentic in the outside world. I suppose it depends on why you come together. If people come together to grow and learn, grow and learn they will!
It definitely takes work. I think the best thing to do is put yourself in as many environments that make you already feel comfortable being yourself and then making an effort to meet people in those kinds of places.
Yes, very true Stefan! I found it difficult to find a good tribe for myself, so I started one. And it’s been the most beautiful experience. Sometimes, if you cannot find them, you have to bring them together yourself ;)
