I think I would rather lose myself in the maze than come face to face with happiness…..

would we know what to do with true happiness?

The answer is yes, look at it this way, Happiness is as amazing and vast as the Canvas you give it. If you took a man who has never seen the ocean(picture, ect) and told him of it, how it is a body of water with unimaginable depths and goes far as you can see, he would feel “tiny” in comparison. Then you take him there, would he be able to handle it? Now I am comparing A physical feature to a concept, but even the ocean can be only seen as a concept first. I believe just like we all deal with life in our own way, we to experience happiness differently, thank you for your time!

i think it’s analogous to how people spend their whole life searching for happiness, and in the end when they finally come out of the maze they realize that happiness isn’t something that you have to jump through hoops in order to attain, but it’s just a state of mind that’s been attainable from the getgo.. people waste their life on the pursuit of happiness, when really you should be in happily pursue whatever you want in life.
