I’m sorry. I was in a terrible mood when I wrote this. A pretty lame excuse for such a scathing case of trolling, but I thought you should know just the same. I fully support and advocate psychodelics, and this was both well-written, as well as and emotionally affecting in many parts. Again, all apologies and good day to you.

Why do posts like these qualify as enlightening or even remotely interesting? This website isn’t dedicated to the cultural backwash of the 1960’s. ANYONE can find a post about doing LSD at a Phish concert… It’s really not indicative of open-mindedness or “consciousness expansion.” What’s next, “my oobe at a grateful dead reunion tour? The time the universe briefly made sense when i did shrooms at a string cheese concert?” I’ll paraphrase the manimal here: drugs are SO overrated.

This material is depressing and weak.

Videos like this patronize and undermine the true potential of the Psychadelic Experience. It’s like when the Merry Pranksters showed up at Tim Leary’s house; he took one look around, saw it for what was–young people and hippies acting like young people and hippies and doing a ton of drugs, hiding behind the sentiment of “consciousness expansion”–and said thanks, but no thanks.
Advertising such a sacred esoteric thing cheapens it. No matter how trippy the video or how sweet the soundtrack is. And not to mention, it’s also very dangerous and can give vulnerable people the wrong message.
Sorry, I’m just sick of all this drug propaganda on a website I think is truly valuable.

This is a very important article, and hopefully one of many more to come! The role of women in this generation is going to be a HUGE factor for positive change for our future. I think we as HEthens should continue to promote as much awareness as possible. Thanks Jordan.
