To see beyond. To see beyond my own views and experiences, of myself, others, the world, ideas, etc.
An artist, a child, my thoughts and actions, my feelings and fears, my hopes and dreams, my family and loved ones, everything I believe in, and what I eat ^_^
“For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone.”
“People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, and redeemed; never throw out anyone.”
“Pick the day. Enjoy it – to the hilt. The day as it comes. People as they come… The past, I think, has helped me appreciate the present – and I don’t want to spoil any of it by fretting about the future.”
-Audrey Hepburn (all of the above quotes)
“Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you’re a mile away and you have their shoes.”

Film & TV
My favorite show is either The Big Bang Theory or Good Eats, and close runners-up are Jing the Bandit King, Dark Angel, and Kino’s Journey. I do like to watch the news (not that the news is particularly pleasant, nowadays).
My favorite movie is August Rush. I also like Pride and Prejudice (the Keira Knightely version) and The Terminal.
