The Quick, 12-Step Guide to Quitting That F––––––– Job You Hate

  • 2015-06-17 @ 12:12:28

This is how I see it. Most of the people that are using social media on a daily basis are addicted to it and just dont know it. They have a constant need to check for updates, likes, and keep up with what everyone else is doing. This is the reason that I deleted all my social media accounts about 9 months ago, its been liberating. I am free from the feeling of needing to keep up with everyone else and to show them how awesome the things I do are. I dont need to feed my ego by getting approval from others anymore. I urge everyone who is contemplating on the reason they use social media to delete it and you will realize that you never needed it and that you are more free to do the things your heart desires because you wont be seeking approval from others.

    Peace, Love, Good Vibes!

This has been my dream for a couple of years now. I cant wait to have all my debt paid off so that I can start to get more serious about buying land and doing just what this family did. It might not be for everyone but it is definitely the more harmonious way to live with nature.

These are great pieces of advice. I am using some of them now; going on walks throughout the day to get a break from the computer, morning routine (meditation, health smoothie, walk). Thanks for sharing.

This seems like a legit guide that I would use. I have never tried DMT, but I am interested in it, or some form of it. I am mainly interested in the ayahuasca since its easier to make yourself, just boiling the root and the leaves. But it seems it would be better to have a short DMT trip alone than a long ayahuasca one. Any sites you know of that will tell you how to make DMT?

How to Have the Best DMT Experience: 5 Necessary Steps To Prepare Yourself

  • 2014-03-06 @ 08:10:00

Very interesting experience. I have been thinking about some sort of retreat myself. Not necessarily meditation, but maybe. Maybe yoga, iboga or ayhuascha. Either way I would be choosing one for the same reason, just to go inside myself and find the bad shit thats suppressed in my subconscious and try and deal with that. Thanks for sharing your experience from the retreat.

@martijn I was reading your post about traveling through SE Asia and I have to ask about costs. I was just talking to my girlfriend about a similar sort of trip, maybe to costa rica or somewhere pretty safe where we could immerse ourselves in their culture. She seems to think it will be too expensive to do this because of the flights. She is trying to compare the price to an all inclusive resort trip. Can you help me with some ideas on where to go or costs of flights at all. I need a way to convince her its safe and affordable and that the resorts are worthless. Thanks. Peace.

How Expectations Color Our Beautiful World

Thanks for sharing this, it actually does seem like it could be a great exercise and one that is out of the norm. As far as which school of thought resonates with me, I would say that I like the guru method of simplifying and just ending up at you. However I also think that is the more difficult way to go, and the more common way is to replace that belief. The problem with replacing thoughts with new ones is that your mind stays cluttered and you can end up manipulating that new thought back into the old one.

Love it! I know exactly what you are referring to here and man there are some weird ass thoughts. Off hand I am sure that I have had an instantaneous thought of maybe killing myself or someone in some weird way. Like looking at some random person and just thinking dam I would like to rip that persons head off their shoulders. (That may have been a bit gruesome lol). Then other times just like you mentioned sex is something is comes to mind in weird way sometimes. Like seeing some random person at a glance and imagining having some wild sexcapade with them, then you realize hey Im not single, or hey Im gay or not gay why am I thinking that. Just weird shit man. Definitely time to get back into meditating, I noticed changes when I stopped. Thanks for the post.

Thanks for the reminder. It’s hard having to pay off all the bills i acquired during my materialistic, asleep stage in my life. I think that’s something that always haunts me. I have to keep this boring ass job so I can pay down my debts. One day I will be able to be happy day in and day out doing what I love. Until then I’m a dreamer like so many others, although one day I WILL succeed in breaking free.

I’m coming across this 2 years and 9 months after it was posted. Seems weird I don’t know how I stumbled across this. Anyways I was reading and wondered if I could answer your question. For this phrase to work you have to be able to see the good in everything. To be able to see what you gain when you are dealt the cards you didn’t want or expect. So instead of seeing it as spurts of happiness you should see it as continuous happiness with spurts of a negative emotion. But that will instantly be flipped when you are able to find the lesson or positive outcome in that situation. I hope I was able to explain that well. Peace. Love. Good Vibes.

Maybe your just a downer dude. There is science, and there is spirituality. Nobody said there is science backing up this article, but it is a great article in my opinion. Another way to look at the world around you and have new experiences. Thats what life is about right, having new experiences, learning, growing. If you are so serious all the time and dismiss everything that isnt proven 100% then sucks for you bro but dont bash everyone else that wants to believe.
