The Relative and the Absolute – The Nature of Duality Explained

beautifully written! Since I started dabbling in psychedelics I always knew there was something more to these substances than just an awesome night of hallucinations. It was the third time I’d ever done mushrooms and my bestfriend/trip buddy had done about 5 grams each and it was without a doubt the most life changing experience of my life. we got to talking about life and the universe and we were both thinking and feeling very profound things. I started to tear up thinking about how pure and beautiful life is and before we knew it we were both sobbing. I just remember not being able to stop crying. they weren’t sad tears, to me it was like the universes way of cleansing and coming into us. the ego was gone, for 3 hours we just sat together and cried over the beauty and purity of existence. that trip taught me that we as humans are the most organic kind of machine, composed of universal elements, and that we are powered by energy, a natural and organic electricity. I remember thinking to myself “life is the purest thing you will ever receive, and love is the purest thing you will give to it.” It provided me with such clarity that since that trip I haven’t been able to do mushrooms without having the intent of growing spiritually or seeking divine knowledge. It was the trip that truly opened my eyes, I am eternally awake, and oh so grateful.
