Another side to this is misinformation. It goes hand in hand with censorship. You really don’t have to censor when people go searching for the wrong things, or kill their appetite with psychological hooks, much is invested in this.
The ruling classes in history have always kept things secret. Nothing will change if it goes on forever. This kind of mistrust in the “masses” is what perpetuates the masses to think that they aren’t capable. I’m positive that we are wayyy past that point of illiteracy. It’s evident that people who have the potential to do will be separate from those who don’t care. And those who don’t care will never be interested if they don’t see new ideas. Leechers. Ironically, those who don’t care are the same ones who are deep into the manufactured misinfo.
