It’s not perfect, but here’s what has helped me
Short answer: BenzaClin, tretinoin cream, the birth control pill.
Long answer: Two prescription products: BenzaClin (topical gel with 1%clindamycin and 5% benzoyl peroxide as active ingredients) and a .05% tretinoin cream. I use the BenzaClin after rinsing my face in the morning (I don’t wash it again because it’s not necessary and dries my skin out), then put a moisturizer on top. Then at the end of the day I’ll wash my face with a generic drugstore face wash, wait for my face to dry, and apply the tretinoin cream followed by a heavier moisturizer without spf. I use the oil cleansing method sporadically; it usually takes too much time. When i work out i use a “toner” of diluted apple cider vinegar. Just spray it on and wipe off to get rid of some of the sweat.
I know some people aren’t big on fucking with their hormones, but the pill has really helped, especially with acne on my body
