@chodebalm, People said he was the son of God, he said he was the son of man. He did call God his father though, but that was not uncommon, people would often say “our father in the heavens” so that was not an issue.
The conflict arises when people call him the first born, the Bible says “in the beginning there was God, and the word was with him, the word came forth from his mouth and through it all things were created” or words to that effect. The idea is that Jesus was the word, basically he is the Arch Angel of creation, that returned to God fulfilled.
That is interesting and all but not really relevant, it primarily serves to divide people and so by that result it should not be prioritised.
