I suffer the same emotions. What has triggered my conflict is running back to an ex that has done me wrong too many times. I have went back about 7 times in the past year. I think when you train your mind to accept routine and dwell on bad memories, you limit your opportunities to follow your heart and aspirations. I am on a very low dose of citalopram and have been for several months. I can say I find it a lot easier and natural feeling to think positive and focus. Also another centering technique is meditation. Even if it is just ten minutes a day. Look up binural beats and also chakra meditation on youtube. You will discover which techniques work best for you quickly. Group activites like hiking book clubs and yoga clubs will help you make more connections with positive guidance.
