@opal, I don’t agree with taking medication for anxiety.
Do not underestimate herbs!! as an anxiety sufferer myself I can say that they work awesomely.
Some other things that really help anxiety is going for regular walks. Once your mind starts getting revved up and ready to send you on an uncomfortable and tense ride, put on a coat and walk out the door. You don’t have to have a destination, just walk. It’s amazing at clearing the head.
