@aliwine, I too myself have began to have thoughts like this, that feeling that human connection is a thing of the past, everyone communicated through text messages and on computers, not much connection there. Lucky for me i have a few people to lean on, not too often but they are people i can count on to help me out when i really need it.
One is my friend Precious, she is one of the kindest human’s i have ever met, and thats why shes one of those people i wanna make sure stay around for as long as possible. I had a lot of things i needed to sort out and she was there for me every step of the way to keep me going, to get me breaking my old habits and creating new, better ones. Certainly would not be who i am today without her.
Its too difficult these days to connect with people on a higher level because you cant connect with someone like that over the internet, it doesnt work too well, cant show tone of voice, you cant actually give someone a hand when their in need, all you can do is write out some little phrase liek “it gets better dude” and it seems meaningless. The technology age we are in now is wiping out the need for cuman connection. Before this we needed other people for everything, to buy food from, to learn something from, someone to have a heart to heart with. But now theres no need, you can get anything you want mailed to your home, google anything you want and get a better answer from multiple sources as opposed to that one person who you dont know if they are reliable or not. Everything this day and age can be done from a computer chair.
