@bigmac22, Yeah I know it sounds crazy, but I think that’s just our social structure putting a fog over the truth. I would suggest reading Boyle’s Moneyless Manifesto if you haven’t, It is free online and I don’t know economics as well as he does to explain thoroughly, but it seems like he has though of just about everything and it brings a very hopeful, positive, and manageable view to bringing about a true gift economy.

I agree with these flaws but I disagree that it is hopeless for change on a large scale. How you effect your community effects you, maybe not directly but I think equally if you look on the larger time line. Then, in a result, the belief you have in yourself to change, is the hope we have for us all and visa versa. “Be the change”
