@s0pern0va, I don’t think our elections are based on the majority of people, as a democracy should be, but I think it is based on the majority of capital. It usually ends of being a democracy just for the rich. Why? Because media is privately owned, and expensive, and campaigns are privately financed. I believe this leads to the wealthy only financing people that serve there interests, and the media only supporting politicians that serve their private interests as well. I mean shit, the vast majority of senators in the U.S. are millionaires, while only a tiny percentage of the U.S. population are millionaires, to me that shows that a vast over representation of a tiny class of wealthy people, where as the middle and working classes have very little representation despite being numerically much stronger. I find this extremely undemocratic.
