Patience– Nas & Damian Marley ~One of the best and deepest songs I know. All damian marley songs actually (road to zion, stand a chance, it was written, leaders, etc)

Simple man– Lynyrd Skynyrd: All around great songs and great lyrics

Ok these guys Chill Bump have some of the best rap I’ve ever heard, with amazing lyrics, and it’s all FREE! I implore to download all their albums but definitely listen to these songs: Five Minute Breather, Melancholy, Raise Up, It’s Alive, Lost in the Sound, Snip Snip, all of The Loop album

Immortal Technique is great if you’re interested in politically active songs/songs about real world problems and revolution, etc. Good rapper.

We’ll Never Know–Logic: Real song, real talk, no bullshit. Criticizes world problems. Worth the listen man. Makes you really think

Keep’n It Real–Shaggy: Sometimes you just need a reality check

Changes–2Pac: Real nigga. More also (ghetto gospel, keep ya head up, my block, etc)
