I know the video is long but the story is worth the time. I cannot understand how something like this could just happen with no real explanation, or even some sort of elaboration from either sister. Also, I found it to be kind of a red flag in that the sister Ursula lived in the U.S. and then visited her sister, after which they disappeared followed by the events in the story. Could this be related to MKULTRA or some other kind of mind altering experience? I’m not trying to say this is a conspiracy but the fact that before the incident on the highway they both were acting extremely suspicious to the point where the woman at the bus stop believed they may have a bomb or be plotting something and also later on before Sabina stabs Glenn that she talks about how her cigarettes may be poison? I don’t know, it all seems very very odd to me and the witnesses and people involved also seem to have no idea what is going on. I can’t see this as being just a brief fit of madness like the psychiatrist states or the court rules. These women both throw themselves into high speed traffic and afterwards say crazy things like the officer not being real and that “they” will take your organs. Maybe they were trying to kill themselves in order to be free of whatever kind of substance or hypnosis they were put under? This is all speculation but just what I thought after seeing these accounts, but what do you guys think?
@ballsackturtles23, are we that eager to find conspiracies? This is bizarre, no doubt, certainly not sane human behavior I agree, but conspiracy it’s not. I’ve only known one schizophrenic, and not much interaction with her. But my best friend was diagnosed manic-depressive, and when the symptoms first started to manifest he had behavior very similar to this. It’s really not that uncommon, although I think uncommon to have such an up close look at it and such crazy results. But to make the jump to MKUltra, or government mind control, c’mon. Not saying to brush everything off or take everything at face value, but I think a healthy dose of skepticism would do well in almost all instances.
@gonzo1603, It’s a fascinating documentary for sure, thanks for sharing. But as I said to ballsack, my friend had an episode that reminds me of this, thankfully his end wasn’t as extreme. But as for their suspicious behavior, they were crazy, if you saw people who were crazy/paranoid and didn’t know it, you would think it suspicious too. The cigarette thing, certainly odd, but if she honestly thought (even in her disillusioned state) that they may be poisoned, why was she smoking them? A common side effect of these episodes is the blurring of reality, not sure what or who is real, or what was dream or idea and what wasn’t. I really don’t see this as being anything except an extremely rare look at two people in deep psychosis. Whatever it was, I definitely couldn’t turn away.
@smalls, I normal cases I wouldn’t have much to say, had I not myself been a victum what I believe to be the same project. At 17 years old I was inebraited with no prior knowledge and jumped in front of a moving vehicle. I was thrown 15 feet. I get back up the woman that hit me gives me a ride. She says “my god are you ok, where do you live”. Her face is melting like LSD visuals, and (i’m sure it wasn’t) I see blood pouring out of her face. I hindsight I believe it to be her acne, but that was the way the trip projected itself. I pointed in a random direction and she drops me off at a house I pointed at. I get out andsit inside a car. I think I was dosed with LSD. They smash the window out and pull me out of the car. It took 7 cops to restrain me (a 155 lb dude).
I was charged with assaulting a police officer, battery, and trespassing.
To this day I am permanently scarred from the trip. The sight of blue lights (and I really don’t think cops are all bad people, just people like anyone else) brings flashbacks.
Knowing what I know, I wouldn’t put it past the rat bastards of the CIA to be reprogramming (perhaps war strategy?) a suicide trip.
@ballsackturtles23, Certainly not saying I believe you, or the link that you posted. I can’t find anything other than references to a document that mentions the “pont-sant-esprit incident.” Do you have a link that is anything more than speculation? Evidence that this document exists? I can’t just go around believing everything I hear on the internet, it’s what gives conspiracy theorists a bad name. Then when somebody does have something interesting, something based in evidence and rationality, the term conspiracy theorist is applied and all credibility is lost.
You gotta research shit on your own dude. I can’t spoon feed everything to you. Quick google search shows hundreds of pages. Everything from Russia Today to High Times.
@smalls, MK ULTRA has a bad reputation. Even gives the CIA a bad name, which is saying something. Look deeper into their shit, don’t stop with the shit I’ve posted. There are plenty of cases like this recorded… and those are the ones we know about.
I can’t say for sure if these girls or myself are in the mix, but I certainly can’t say “the government would never do that” because we have dozens of cases where they already have.
@ballsackturtles23,Spoon feed me everything? You’ve spoon fed me nothing! I’m starving, give me something. I think you might want to refine your research methodology, I’m sure boingboing.net is a very credible news source, but none of the things you’ve posted contain any actual evidence (as far as I’ve seen) I’ve heard mention of a guy writing a book who came across a document that mentions the incident, but can’t seem to find this document. If I believed everybody who wrote a book I’d be a damn fool. I’m all for a good conspiracy, but the key word is GOOD, not conspiracy. There has to be some evidence, like real evidence. So far I’ve seen nothing that suggests this incident, or the one you claim is anything outside of a normal psychotic event. Not saying you have to believe what I believe, I’m just an advocate of skepticism, wish people would use it more.
** I even did a little reading from your suggested reading list there, here’s an article that you suggested:
Give it a read
@smalls, A normal psychotic event that killed 5 people and make 500 trip out? First all you have to due is search the lawsuits filed against MK ULTRA and there were a LOT of them from people that were working from MK ULTRA. Here is one from Frnk Olsons family (he jumped out of a window. He was working for MK ULTRA)
Another popular one.
Here is a .gov link
Here is a freedom of information act link
Would you like some milk?
@ballsackturtles23, MKUltra isn’t a conspiracy theory (it is very interesting), but it’s fact, it made the jump because there’s evidence. The government has done some fucked up shit. But now every time someone jumps in front a vehicle people shout “The CIA is at it again!” is just wrong, and irrational. Is it possible the government still does this? Absolutely, but that doesn’t mean any strange occurrence should just automatically be labeled as government experimentation without any sort of support. That’s all I’m advocating, skepticism.
“so long as men are not trained to withhold judgment in the absence of evidence, they will be led astray by cocksure prophets, and it is likely that their leaders will be either ignorant fanatics or dishonest charlatans.”
@ballsackturtles23, Ever heard of confirmation bias? You’ve shown the ability to be skeptical of information that disproves ideas you hold as true, but don’t seem to be as critical of evidence supporting things you wish to believe. It should be applied equally to all, for the sake of future conspiracy theorists. I have a dream… that one day information will be judged not by how badly one hopes it is true, but by the veracity of it’s content.
@smalls, Until the world changes people are gonna be like this. FOIA isn’t worth a shit because the government classifies their dirty little secrets. MK ULTRA was an exception because it was such a huge fuckup it was hard to keep under raps, but it “didn’t exist” for the longest time.
Bring everything to public light! Shit is being payed for with our tax dollars. This is not constitutional.
@smalls, Your probably right. I’m totally full of shit sometimes.
In reality, we probably need more secrecy in our government for national security. It’s a shame so much has been revealed on MK ULTRA. We really don’t have the right to know, it’s none of our business.
@ballsackturtles23, people like you crack me up, and also make me want to cry. The government loves you, you’re so anti government that it turns other people off. It’s what has made the term ‘conspiracy theorist’ what it is today. So that a government official, or anyone looking to discredit someone, simply has to mention the term and all credibility is lost. It’s because of people who are so desperate for conspiracies that they’ll swallow anything someone says so long as it confirms what they want to believe. Your sarcasm is quite telling though, seeing as how I said nothing about confidentiality or transparency of government. Seeing as how this is going nowhere, it’s probably best to walk away. But I’ll send you a new tinfoil hat, your current one might be a bit tight.
@smalls, i agree for sure, but just the fact that it was two people at the same time kinda threw me off. maybe its more to do with them being twins? idk
@ballsackturtles23, @smalls, to both of you though, the reason i brought up MK ULTRA was because from what i know about it this story seemed very similar. unfortunately theres really no more information on this event, especially since neither sister will talk about it. anyways, thats what the point of this post was; to get a discussion on what it could be and also give it some attention because its very odd and if i hadn’t seen this video i would have never known it happened
