Anybody had ESP experiences?

 Alex (@alexsabus) 7 years, 10 months ago

Just wondering if anyone had any ESP (Extra Sensory Perception), Clairvoyance or heightened sense of intuition experience in their lives.
I have had a lot of personal experiences myself. I have had some dreams about the future, which had happened exactly as I had seen in the dream. Then there were events were I had found lost objects just by guessing.
So anyone with similar or different experiences?

I have had a lot of experiences where my intuition has been heightened to an amazing degree. This doesn’t tend to be permanent however, with it waxing and waning I think almost seasonally.
I recently got my chakras read by someone (yes, I know.) and anyway she was saying my 3rd eye was ‘sluggish’ which I have possibly put down to the fact that I’m kinda congested in my sinuses due to a lot of milk being drunk and cold weather over here in the UK.
I do tend to feel/see like I can feel where the future is going to take me.. But then following on with other things I have read, that could just be me affecting my own beliefs and creating these experiences right.
Lol. Chicken or the egg.
I’d really like to do a darkness meditation/iboga thing and really gain more belief in these powers so as to develop them further.

@alexabus
Care to share any experiences that you thought were particularly interesting?

One that stands out for me was last year, when I spent 4 days alone at my family’s cabin in the mountains. No phone, no internet, a great place to find peace. The second night, I have this incredibly vivid dream about- of all things- competitive rowing. (the “STROKE!….STROKE!” kind of rowing). Now, I have exactly zero interest in this sport, nor do I know anyone who does, so the whole next day I’m puzzling over where it came from. At around 4pm some friends of my grandfather come by, I don’t know them but I know of them- I tell them my Grandfather isn’t around but offer a tour if the remodel we just completed on the cabin.. Yadda yadda during the course of the convo, the older woman mentions her granddaughter who just got a college scholarship… for competitive rowing.

As if that wasn’t enough, a week later I’m looking over one of those coffee shop bulletin boards where people post events, and half-buried under concert posters is a flyer for INTERNATIONAL ROWING DAY- A FREE EVENT, etc.. and the date: the day after my dream.

The best explanation I’ve been able to formulate is that dreams are able to tap into the collective unconscious and more or less inform an individual of the major themes running through it.

would be excited to hear other peoples stories ;-j

I’m not sure or remember any dreams that indicated something that was about to happen in in the future. But during some dreams, it is a lot easier connect ideas, concepts, events, and memory.

From there you might perform some sort of synthesis (mostly random), or prediction from what you’ve heard or seen before. Then, when something similar happens in real life you connect it to dim dream you’ve had before and thinks that something ESPish might have happened.

Nonetheless, there is something connecting these things together whether we know about them or not. There has been moments of people dreaming up the winning numbers of a lottery. So anything could be possible, its our goal to define if it is real or relative to our personal perception.

I recall a dream that I had when I was about five years old. In the dream I was in an old house and was sitting on my grandfather’s lap. a key thing to remember about this is that my grandfather had died nine years before I was even born. I had never seen a picture of him or knew anything about him except that he was a guitar player and singer in a band. I was speaking with him about everything and I asked what this patch was covering his heart. it looked like the pad that you put on a Swiffer sweeper. He told me his heart was hurt and that patch didn’t make him hurt anymore. at the time I did not care and accepted it. When I was about twelve my mom pulled out a music bag that her father ( my grandfather) gave her before he died. we were going through it and I found a photo of a man who looked like the younger version of the man in my dream. I asked who it was and my mom told me it was her father. I asked her how he had died and she told me he died of heart disease, and I saw that patch over hi heart.

I read my friend’s mind before and I see spirits and energy

Had a friend that could read minds. Use to mess with him a lot when he was around because I’d give wild psychological images/events. Finally after about 2 years I finally let him in on what I was doing. He thought I was a loose cannon with some wild ideas…lol

Yes, absolutely! I have had two dreams where I had found something I had previously lost. As well, about two weeks ago, I had a dream that I was meeting with my supervisor and asked her what her Meyer’s Briggs personality type is, and she said INFP, which is mine also, so we had an excited little chat about that. After waking up and going to the meeting I actually did have, I told my supervisor that I dreamed we had the same Meyer’s Briggs personality type, and she said “INFP?” Weeeeeeeee!

@alexsabus I have had a few dreams. For instance once i dreamed i was in a raft with my family. My sister had a child, but it was tiny. It fell out of the raft, into the rapids. We looked for the child to no avail.
The next day I found out that same sister had miscarried.

Wow. So interesting how dream symbolism plays out.. I find it interesting that the baby was lost in a river.. Do you feel there is meaning to the river symbolism or that the river was just an allegorical storytelling device?

The interesting thing about the visual languages of dreams is how poetic they are. flowing water is a conduit. in this story the child is lost to the energies which drive our lives, as is anything which dies.

This is a relatively small-scale example and honestly, I’m still not sure if I believe in ESP phenomenon. But a few days ago, after meditating, I was driving around with my roommate in the passenger seat. Suddenly, even though neither of us were talking, a strange thought popped in my head about my roommate. I heard, in my mind, ” wow, you really want a cigarette, don’t you?” I have never even seen my roommate smoke before, so I chalked it up as just a strange thought. But, then seconds later, my roommate asks me if I would stop at a store so he could buy some cigarettes. Small things like this that some people interpret as ESP have been happening to me quite a lot lately.

Ive had very strong DeJa Vu to the point where I was recalling what someone was going to say before they said it. And Ive thought thinks and attached them to my emotions… such as when my boyfriend wears ALL black everyday, it got super depressing, one night I was thinking to myself, and said, ya know what? I hate this! I hate how he wears black so much and its like hes a black hole and sucks all the energy out of me. and I go downstairs and he was wearing a white T that he said he had JUST bought at Goodwill…. mind you, he never wore white for like 6 years… Thats a weak exapmle. But I have strong “law of attraction”s…. And when I know WHAT i want, it usually shows up within a day or two. But I need to Really know what I want. Such as in a boyfriend, a school, or a material item

The earliest vision I had was when I was 13 y/o. 3 years later it came to pass when I was 16. I was standing at an abandoned air strip, with weeds growing up thru the cracks, saw many people standing around, I was in a group of about 5, knew every step everyone was going to take and everything that they were going to say for nearly 5 minutes. Some one had said something and in my vision, witnessed myself saying something that was really bad and went over like a lead ballon. When the conversation came up, I said what I should have said and everthing went great.

Have had many since then too. Was headed to New Orleans driving down I-55, pulled into a rest area because I was tired and planned on catching a nap. The enveloping feeling that my time was at hand, I opened my briefcase, made a rough draft will, closed it up in my briefcase, locked it and then decided that I wanted to see what was going to kill me. I drove on to New Orleans, took care of business and headed right back up the same interstate, except headed north this time. In my absense from the rest area, a tornado had hit it dead center and there was nothing left, no concrete tables or benches…nothing.

Had a vision of a log truck going under an underpass and the top logs were stacked to high and got scrapped off, sending one through my windshield, killing me. The next day, with my mother with me in my pick-up truck, everything went exactly as I had seen with the exception of the out come. I slammed on my brakes, mother looked at me and ask why I braked and before I could reply, she witnessed the top logs being scrapped off the log truck as it went under the bridge. She then said, “You & your Daddy”. Yes he saw things happen before they happened too.

This all started when I was 10 years old and injured in a mountain climbing accident. They lost me for a little while and I crossed over. The last thing to go in this life is your hearing. The best way I can describe what I experienced was, it is the closest you will come to the creator (what-ever name you have for the creator) till your final time. Yes, I’ve learned there are a few hundred thousand of us around the world and basically the results are the same upon awakening. Seeing things occur before they occur, some times years in advance, other times, mear seconds. It’s not a curse but a gift. Trying to get people and law enforcement take me serious, now that another matter.

One more: For 4 nights in a row I was aboard a commercial airliner as a passenger in my dream. Every night was the same, the airliner went down and crashed but there was no apparent mechanical problem with any of them. Twice I found myself in a skyscraper in New York City (Been to NYC many times on business and it is a life for other’s to appreciate, I don’t). The morning after the 4th night I was home and had not turned on a t.v. or radio but decided to work outside in my flower garden (find it relaxing). Around 11 that morning I made a trip to the local mom & pops convenience store for a fountain soda when I heard about the explosion at the World Trade Center. I commented that they won’t let dead dogs lie will they? They wanted to know what I meant, I said, “The van that blew up in the garage of the World Trade Center happend 10 years ago and they are harping about it again today”? That was when they told me what had happended. I almost collasped in the floor and started weeping. I still do when I reiterate the events..

Alex, yeah! Sometimes.. With dreams, intuition, and other stuff. One time I was looking straight at this corner of a wall and told myself there would be a bad influence right where I was staring in 5, 4, 3, 2, BAM this guy pokes his head out from around the corner!! Its all about if you allow your senses to become heightened.
