A friend of mine just texted me asking if I’ve ever heard of this.. He said you take yourself "out of the system".. said he knows someone who just did it and he has no more taxes, no more ID’s, etc.. Does anyone know anything about this? What’s the catch? Any info would be appreciated, I’m not a fan of the big system & would love to pull myself out of it.
I have heard of this as well! A friend of mine told me about it… Actually, I believe there is a website that gives information on it and you can register… or rather “unregister” from the world, so to speak.
I wonder though if it’s under some sort of watch- because really, not many people have the balls to do that- so when “they” hear of someone doing it, do they zero in on you and watch you even more closely? Because once you do that, you are no longer simply a number in the system to them, you are a human being and that intrigues them a lot more than the billions of other numbers in it…
But! How marvelous and freeing would that be to not be a part of it? But then of course, one would not have access to medical care if you were to get hurt… Would be a good idea to make a doctor friend or two, or become one on your own! But I also suppose anyone at the brink of disconnecting from the system is beyond giving a shit about not being able to use a hospital, etc. Also… one cannot travel the world if you are out of the system? I wonder… I must go research this!
Thanks for posting and reminding me. Good luck to you if you do it!!!
I would be rather under the impression that then you wouldn’t be eligible for any of the stuff in “the system” that you DO like. ya know, hospitals, cops, welfare, healthcare, insurance. the eligibility to work a job, protection under the constitution of your country ya know, all that stuff.
This is complete insanity. I’m sorry but I really think it is. No human being is bound by anything unless he chooses to be. Getting out of some ‘system’ is nothing but a testimony to it. You have to recognize the system as your sovereign first before you can get out of it, don’t you? Why even go there? “Your life is yours and yours alone. Rise up and live it!”. Yes there is a system, there always is, but you yourself choose entirely to what extent and in what way it defines you. A thing Paul Hedderman often says comes to mind: “The best way to get out of something is to realize you were never in it”. The system is a phantom, it has no influence on your freedom, you do.
I wondered that Alex.. and yeah I think I’d always want medical care.. I just knew nothing about the idea & was curious.. I know I’m not bound to any system–this one just annoys me. Everyone becomes possessed by working for the system..we walk around in a daze unaware that everything we do (from setting the alarm clock when to wake up, to showering, driving to work) is automatic & stagnant. There’s little growth, creativity, new experience, with our way of life in this system. We’re too busy chasing our tails to stop & smell the roses. It makes me sad to see people’s talents & motivations & dreams tossed to the wayside bc there wasn’t enough time to nourish those things-bc their time was too consumed and invested keeping the system running. I have my gripes with the system-ha but that’s a whole different discussion.. I was just curious about the fililng for sovereignty thing :)
I was a ghost for about 6 years. I didn’t actively choose to stay out of the system, I just was willfully apathetic to it and it snowballed as I grew more jaded toward ‘the man’. During that time I lived in stable, active and healthy environments with minimal moving, owned decent vehicles, etc, but the government knew little of my comings and goings. I didn’t file taxes, didn’t have a mailing address, never used a bank, never gave a legit phone number and never put my name on any utilities during those years. During that 6 year stint I went 2 years with a warrant for my arrest, fake tabs, and no insurance and came out unscathed (feel free to ask me about the whole warrant if you want. I’m not a pederass or nothin).
Looking back on that time period (which I’m about 8 years removed from) it was liberating and fun. I felt like I was untraceable and uncatchable. In reality, I was really putting myself at greater risk for more legal trouble then it was worth. Had I ever been caught, that lifestyle would have fucked up my future in a big way. I guess my point is, you can live your life in the system, probably have a better future for it, but still say “FUCK THE MAN”. Just do it wisely!
On Em’s question – I’d be very interested in what this process entails. I don’t think there is any magic legal loophole that can get you out of the mix. Be wary of any system/program/how-to guide that says it can help you buck the system like that. I think legally getting yourself out of the system but still reaping it’s benefits is damn near impossible and actually morally reprehensible to be honest.
But hey, you can always fake your death or go missing! But wait. You’d have to forsake your loved ones and totally break their hearts all in the name of your mega freedom. Damnit! 7am! Gotta get ready for work! =)
I have recently wrote a letter to my Queen announcing my will to suspend my membership to her organization as I can no longer support its current course.
I am planning to continue writing to various departments until somebody will come up with an answer.
Will get back on it as soon there will be anything to report.
For the Dutchies, the letter is on FB in my Notes.
@Syn.Ther, That’s brilliant, I’m a “Flying Dutchman” and I would check out your letter but I don’t really use Facebook because I do not believe in their current course XD.
@em, Sorry I might have gotten a little too enthusiastic there. It might have looked like that silly revolutionary ramble was directed at you. It wasn’t. I know that you’re aware that you’re not bound to anything and that you were just curious. I don’t mean to flame you for being curious, not in the least. Plus, I completely share your frustration with the system. My personal demon is the educational system: it is extremely successful at suppressing peoples talents and ambitions, shaping people into zombies. I feel like I have to play along although honestly, I rather wouldn’t. You see, what I failed to mention in that true but mindlessly written piece of manifest right there is that it takes a lot of courage to denounce the system. Although it might be true that intrinsically, as a human being, one is not bound to anything, most of us are in a practical kind of way. Without a high school diploma I’m still fucked in this society so I have to hang in there. So, props for Syn.Ther. for going one step further. (Although I’d really be surprised if any of the departments would reply to your letters)
Em, your response has inspired me. I’ve been working on figuring out what the hell I want to major in, but right now I think I’m going to go outside, have a pipe, and enjoy this nice thunderstorm that’s happening right now. Time to stop and smell the roses. :-)
That would be awesome as I definitely have problems with the system.. but you can’t use the roads, the hospitals, the schools, the power grid, get a legal job, etc. And you wouldn’t be a citizen of a country, so they could just throw you in jail indefinitely if they caught you and didn’t like you.
@em: I know a little bit about what you are talking about. I think you are refering to becoming a Secured Party of Interest by filing your Uniform Commercial Code 1 form. I am not an expert on the stuff but I have done some research. It is a legit legal process that if done properly has no legal ramifications with the IRS. I know a lot of people that are UCC1. By becoming a Secured Party of Interest you are taking back your birth rights given to you by the constitution. Essentially when you are born and your mother signs your birth certificate you become incorporated. That is why your name is capitalized on all official documents. By becoming UCC1 you are retaking back responsibility over that corporate status. Ive been told that after long hours of research you can learn how to lawfully avoid taxes, traffic tickets, morgages etc..
honestly, I really like the idea of this. The practicality of it not so much, but the idea of it, definitely. I wish I could just drop out of society and do my own thing. Society sucks, plain and simple. I just want to think. It’s becoming increasingly harder to do that…
Hmmm, reminds of the place I was two weeks ago, definately amazing stuff (not the same but close related)
“Christiania is the land of the settlers. It is the so far biggest opportunity to build up a society from scratch – while nevertheless still incorporating the remaining constructions. Own electricity plant, a bath-house, a giant athletics building, where all the seekers of peace could have their grand meditation – and yoga center. Halls where theater groups can feel at home. Buildings for the stoners who are too paranoid and weak to participate in the race…Yes for those who feel the beating of the pioneer heart there can be no doubt as to the purpose of Christiania. It is the part of the city which has been kept secret to us – but no more”
Do some serious research on UCC1-207, UCC1-308, and the actual processon “reclaiming sovereignty”. The thing is… if you live in the US, the only true way to make any of it “happen” is to just renounce your citizenship and move. *shrug*
I first heard of the UCC1 stuff quite a few years ago, and really, so much of it all is just scam and silliness. :) But good luck if that is a path you choose to pursue!
Haha Ramo-no worries–I get all passionate when it comes to what the education system does to hold everyone back too.. I started a discussion about it a week or two ago about that-maybe I’ll bump it up so you see it.. Education does not equal “smarts,” and hard work does not equal “money”…yet both are the foundation for the big system, for the wrong reasons.
@Mr. Mac–you are one crazy SOB! Sounds like a liberating 6 years..gotta ask though how’d you pay utility bills & stuff without putting your name on anything? it’s that one of the red *** required fields?
@Syn. Ther. that’s awesome, I’d love to hear what/if they respond :)
@mitch–no doubt you’re right about the jail thing :)
@matthew Kellogg & Rain, thanks for the references
@matt.. I think we were doing the exact same thing at the exact same time last night :)
and @martijn thank you so much for that link!! That’s incredible you were there?? There’s hope after all :)
