I just felt like confessing my love for them. Here’s our little love story:
December 29, 2011, I decided that I would quit drinking pop. Of course, quitting caffeine cold turkey is a little hard to do, so I figured I’d switch over to a brand I had tried before. I began drinking Arnold Palmer Half and Half Lite every morning instead of my morning pop. I quickly got off my pop addiction because… well, its just that damn good!
Over the last two months I have tried every kind of canned beverage that they sell at my local gas station, including the green teas. I had previously tried green tea and I really didn’t like it, but I love their version of it. Sure, it might not be as healthy as freshly brewed, but all their teas are naturally flavored and have no colors added nor any additives, so it has to be fairly good for you!
Here are my top 5 for their products:
1. Arnold Palmer Half and Half (Peace Tea Caddy Shack): I still love it, even though I kinda got burnt out on them because I had them so often. The Caddy Shack Version is a little more sweet and less tart. *50 calories per serving*
2. Arizona Raspberry Tea: For some it’s an acquired taste, but I like it! *90 calories per serving*
3. Sweet Lemon Peace Tea: It has a distinct sweet flavor. :) 50 calories per serving*
4. Green tea with Apple Juice and Ginseng: I love apple juice. Combined with the benefits of Green tea, its a great morning drink that isn’t overly sweet so it isn’t a kick to the taste buds, but does a good job of waking me up :) *70 calories per serving*
5 Green tea with Ginseng and Honey: I can’t really taste the honey, but it is sweet and is also a great morning tea. :) *70 Calories Per serving*
If you’re hoping to quit drinking pop, go to your local gas station and see if they have these in 23 oz cans. They’re only 99 cents for 23 oz, all natural, and way better for you than that can of mountain dew. :)

And… why are these better for you?
They probably have the same if not more sugar and still have plenty of caffeine.
This is pop without the carbonation.
It has nearly half the sugar, arizona has 17 (depending on what type) mountain dew has 31. This is per 8 oz.
Tea also has antioxidants, and the teas aren’t full of artificial preservatives and don’t look like a chemistry set, lol. Also, about half the caffeine. Also, carbonation in soft drinks can cause damage to your teeth
Tea has quite a few benefits in it! I’m not saying arizona tea is 100% the best thing for you, sure it has empty calories, but it is hell of a lot better than what i was doing before!
Still… I’d say this is just a step, drinking these for any length of time is probably going to give you fast track to diabetes… amongst other things.
Make your own tea and put in a little honey. Honey is one of the strongest tasting sweetners. You can put honey in the most bitter of teas and it will taste fine. (Kratom tea is bloody bitter, honey covers it right up!)
17 grams of sugar, dried, in front of you, is a lot. You probably wouldn’t ever consciously put 17 grams of sugar in an 8 oz drink you made yourself (its 4.2 cubes of sugar lol) if you ever seen sugar cubes… 4.2 is a lot for one drink lol!
I drink green tea every morning. I just microwave some water and then steep the tea bags in that. It’s really healthy for you and tastes awesome by itself
You are probably addicted to both the caffeine and sugar. cut out the sugar in your tea and just drink fresh brewed tea
