Astrology – is it useful to help?
I used to think it was shit, but lately I’ve been watching some points of it online and not only has it been accurate, but I use it to some degree to aid my life in planning and achieving what I want.
It’s also a lot more complex than the newspaper horoscope, and doesn’t preclude free will as most think it does.
Is it only me, or anybody else? lol..
Have you looked into your natal birth chart? Not only is your sun sign important, so are your ascendant and moon sign as well. This is a GREAT website to not only learn about astrology in depth, but also to break down your own chart:
Go there, put in your info, and after your chart is pulled up you can either click each symbol and read the broken down version – or you can scroll down and select each of the boxes, click “redraw” and then note the position of your planets (Sun in Gemini/Moon in aquarius, etc). If you choose to follow the position chart, you can go to the left of the site and click the link of the planet you want to look into. I found this option to be a lot more in depth.
All in all, I learned a LOT from that site. The descriptions I read about myself given all of the planetary positions when I was born… they’re damn near spot on compared to just reading about Geminis. My moon sign, Aquarius, is far more influencial in my actions than my sun sign Gemini, which rules the workings of my mind pre-action. It also emphasizes that your sun sign is not always the most prominent in your personality, so digging further is always good if the zodiac interests you.
I’ve always had an interest in the zodiac and the paranormal despite the number of people I’ve met who mock me for it. Though the zodiac may seem like something that is not definite, as you could apply really any horoscope to yourself, the actual birthchart makes more clear that the alternate horoscopes we relate to may simply be because we share a certain planetary aspect with the person of whom it applies to. You need to define each planet in your life, as each has an equal influence on the others.
Holy crud, I feel like I could go on forever! rambleramble, my apologies.
