This is more of an realization. I have in my past always wondered what I have done wrong in my past existence. I always believed that I was a bad soul, who did bad things in a past existence to be given my current life. I thought that this flawed life was punishment for corrupted history of lives. Then something changed. I don’t know when, or why, but my point of view on my life has drastically changed. At some point, I’m not even sure when, but slowly, as I grew older in my current life, I started to think of past events, thoughts, and knowledge. Then a single thought started to bloom. Perhaps, my past lives, my spirit, my soul was never the problem. Maybe my current thought process was the issue. I then started to understand that blaming my life, and my actions on something that was so far beyond my control was so much easier than grabbing and holding onto what I could control, which is my current life. As I started to accept and hold myself responsible for my actions, and my thoughts and stopped blaming them on other outside forces, I started to gain that control that I had refused for so long. Then, something magical happen. I realized, my life is the only thing I can really one hundred percent control. And suddenly my life didn’t seem like a punishment anymore. And I started to enjoy my life. Rather than blaming all my problems on arbitrary past, I can control my future.

Nice insight. I came to a similar one last year. Something else to acknowledge though is that there are certain situations and events in life that you actually have no control over. Regardless though, you still have the ability to control how you react to them.
“Life is not suffering; it’s just that you will suffer it, rather than enjoy it, until you let go of your mind’s attachments and just go for the ride freely, no matter what happens.”

Word. Heaven / Hell or the archetypes of that are real, but as gods ourselves are projected only by our own minds. Time to stop judging / punishing yourself; forgive & flow cleanly. Your thought process and the way you view and treat the world can make an immediate change in the state of reality. Very cool that you’ve realized this. I’d recommend researching placebo and the Law of Attraction.
