Burrowing into Existence or Remaining on the Fringes?

I don’t know how heavily I should be investing in life. I like to have a wide vantage point. I want to fill a role in life without having that role define me. I’m looking to be open to everything but not be stagnant. I don’t ever want to cash in my perspectives for something like a well-paying job, and I don’t want to invest my heart and soul in an experience I don’t know will pay back the energy.

Regardless of what you are doing, you are investing in life right now. Find the balance. There’s things you can do with your life, but there is also a life you should be living too.

Even refusing to make a choice is a choice.

You have to essentially just focus on what makes you happy. All the rest of this philosophy falls into place when you do so.
