Louie CK. Check out his TV show ‘Louie’ It’s on Netflix. It’s basically based on his life. As the series progresses, he manages to be incredibly funny in each episode and actually make some strong points about what it takes to be an ethical person, Something that the average TV viewer could definitely use.

Comedy has been overtaking my life! Podcasts are a great resource for comedy these days and I spend a lot of time driving for my job. Comedy does a great job at keeping me entertained, involved in current events (weird, right?) and helps me develop some talking skills of my own. I like these podcasts / comedians:
You Made it Weird with Pete Holmes. This is a perfect podcast for HEthens. This gentleman is a former Christian and is now finding his own faith through mediums such as comedy, sex, drugs, and “god” which is not the christian god he grew up with, but the infinite “everything” that exists around and inside of us.
The Duncan Trussell Family Hour is also a podcast that HEthens would enjoy. Another head trip, Trussell is extremely cerebral and talks to many interesting guests throughout the spiritual community.
The Smartest Man in the World with Greg Proops. You know this guy from Whose Line is it Anyway? He and his cardboard kitty, Kittens McTavish, lash out against corporatism, talk politics and current events, condone drinking and lighting up, and celebrate wonderful humans who have passed on into the great swirling sky.
Improv4Humans podcast with Matt Besser is a really funny improv podcast (duh). With many different guests, they form improvised scenes between them from the suggestions of twitter followers, stories they have heard, youtube videos, and their paid intern Eric. Besser also calls fans on skype sometimes.
Nerd Poker with Brian Posehn and friends. This is awesome. Brian Posehn of The Comedians of Comedy and Sarah Silverman Project, and many many other mediums joins his friends with whom he has been playing different campaigns of Dungeons and Dragons for a decade. This time they podcast their journey! This is a super exciting serial podcast.
If you just feel like listening to hysterical antics and scenes with pretty much no thinking involved (but I love you!) Check out The Todd Glass Show. Simply hilarious gags.
Also check out Chelsea Peretti’s podcast, The Sklar Bros podcast, The Nerdist Podcast, Answer Me This podcast, Comedy Bang Band podcast, and The Thrilling Adventure hour

Reggie Watts. He blends philosophy, music, and comedy together in a Derridan deconstructive method. And the best part is that its stream of consciousness
