Curious to know

Hi community

My questions is this, what goes through the mind of a child who is yet to learn language?
Think native tribes people…

Did language develop the imagination or, would they ‘think’ by visualization?
Love to know your thoughts,

Thanks.

Interesting video, thank you.
Perhaps she would think using emotion? Just a thought.

There is a good episode of the podcast RadioLab that talks about this. It is about a deaf and mute person who didn’t learn sign language until he was an adult. The point they make is that you don’t ‘think’ without language.
