Don't Kid Yourself. You're Living a Lie

 FindYourGreatness (@jpete011) 7 years, 9 months ago

If you’re not in touch with your Truth you are wasting your time.

If you’re not aligned with yourself, you’re a coward.

If you are unhappy or dissatisfied in any way then shame on you.

…I’m sorry, did that hurt? I didn’t intend for that. I only intend to get your attention and WAKE YOU UP.

Now… please understand that you could be wasting your time in your life completely. In fact, you could have wasted your entire life up until this point to a degree.

The extent that you are suppressing yourself is the extent that you are discontent with your life.

Every time you don’t feel good, everything you feel lack, every time you feel insignificant, every time you hold back, all of these times you are being wasteful.

But don’t judge yourself, it’s okay. It just IS.

Accept it.

…But please understand that there is a better space. There is an empowered and beautiful version of yourself dying to release itself in every moment. It’s ALL there right now!

You just have to ALLOW yourself (your deepest, most empowered version) to bloom, that’s all.

This is what you really want. THIS is truly HEAVEN ON EARTH.

So let me ask you:

Why are you here?

Why do you exist?

What is your purpose in life?

Why do you do things you don’t enjoy, ever?

Why do you spend countless hours reading books and going to school?

Why do we believe we have to work hard and grind in order to be “successful”?

Why do we often feel like we never have enough money?

Why is there a lot of confusion and conflicts between the sexes?

What is REALLY going on here? What is driving us and what are we searching for?

Are you truly consciously aware of these questions at the CORE of who you are? Be honest with yourself.

Here’s what’s really going on.
We are searching for Truth. We are searching for the feeling of OURSELVES on the deepest level.

Let’s talk Truth and what is ACTUALLY going on. What do we really want?

>> We want to feel love.

>> We want the freedom to be ourselves.

>> We want to master and express our God given gifts in the fullest way.

>> We want to feel good. Hell we want to feel amazing.

>> We want deep fulfillment.

>> We want the feeling of abundance (the feeling that we can have and experience anything we want, no limits).

Let me make this clear:

I am not hear to give you all the answers. I am here to inspire you to find them within yourself.

“The truth is inside of you.”

It always is and always has been…

…Make sure you understand the underlying Truth of why you are doing what you are doing in every moment. Otherwise you could literally be wasting away your precious life, accumulating stress, chronic dissatisfaction, diseases and sicknesses.

You could quite easily even end up on your deathbed 80 years from now realizing that you simply were chasing an illusion your entire life. A never-ending rat race.

How would you feel if that happened?

So let me ask YOU:
What’s driving you in this moment?

Where are you REALLY coming from?

What’s your Truth?

God didn’t give me my talents and lucky for you, I’m not here to look for answers of you specifically. Why do you give “Truth” a capital letter? Truth is truth, no more and no less. There is no absolute. We as humans, are not yet capable of discovering the absolute of anything. We can only have our understanding through our experiences, which are and should be subjective and open to change.

Are you lost or on some sort of virtual trek on this website for someone to answer these questions for you. These aren’t questions we always ask ourselves, they are questions we live for. You think anyone knows the TRUTH to all of this, as humans we haven’t even journeyed past the moon and know about .00001% about life and the universe. Love is something we are going to magically stumble upon by chance most of the time sometimes its a habit and sometimes it something that most people don’t live by. I absolutely love myself and everything that surrounds us and that we all somehow developed out of some fish who migrated to land over the course of some hundreds of millions of years. WE KNOW NOTHING. And maybe that why we exists, but some exsist for the arts and make the beautiful sounds we hear from the string of a guitar, or a flute. These philosophical questions seem so stupid after you second guess yourself on whether this is real. Every couple of second each of us humans are processing what would take a computer 64GB which is FUCKING RIDICULOUS and somehow so far we still don’t know all the answers, on top of the fact I am probably writing you this endless message to you from hundreds of miles away possibly that gets sent through the internet that CONNECTS all of US. So you tell me, are we insignificant, should we even know the answers to these questions, do you think we exist because I sure as hell do. We want abundance because their is sooooooo many possibilities for each of us as long as we do the right things to attain these things.

@jiggaboo, Where’d you get the info regarding the 64GB?

It was on some TED talk about how we are the best computers known to man, and if you think about how much we are capable of processing in one second it kind of makes sense.

@caoimhesweeney, good point, but there’s always your subjective truth

Yes, but many people who strive to find truth, find what they believe to be a truth and then stick with it. People also often make up a truth until it becomes truth to them. For example, how many times have you heard someone say “I can’t”.
Truth, therefore, in that respect, changes and in every piece of advice to go find truth, there should always be a line to say the truth you find is not set in stone and, given your limited perception of the world, may not even be true.

I don’t see what all the hate is about, I like this post. Those are good questions and the answers seem to be correct. All of the things we “really want” all fall in line with the natural human way of being or human evolution.

>> We want to feel love.
Procreation mechanism
>> We want the freedom to be ourselves.
Being part of a society means trading freedom for security. Humans didn’t evolve to live in societies originally (we figured it out relatively recently). Because of this it’s unnatural for us to be in them so we dislike them slightly.
>> We want to master and express our God given gifts in the fullest way.
This is an extension of the previous one. Expression is how we be ourselves
>> We want to feel good. Hell we want to feel amazing.
Feeling good feels good. Simple as that
>> We want deep fulfillment.
Deep fulfillment satisfies more of our brains. Because of the larger human capacity for thought being fully fulfilled is more difficult for us.
>> We want the feeling of abundance (the feeling that we can have and experience anything we want, no limits).
I think this goes back to the freedom thing from earlier.

I don’t really believe in a purpose.

However, I think we do need a grounding or something that gives us meaning in life. Some may attirbute this to a God-given purpose, but then IMHO it’s about what gives one joy and meaning.

you should read mans search for meaning by victor frankl a holocaust survivor. It goes deeper into the psychological part of the holocaust and how people found the will to live when everything around them was tragic.

Independence will look like arrogance to people that don’t resonate with you…. It’s encouraging to get so many people who believe in personal freedom together but if you value connection to others over connection to self then you have to surrender at some point. Even the most inspiring philosophies have to be diverged from in order to let yourself emerge. Universal oneness like so many claim to want I think has to happen in pairs, clusters, and clans until people can merge harmonically and create this implied heaven.

It seems people either choose independence or community at all costs….

I’m reading the book conversations with god by Neale Donald Walsch and this is a huge topic in that book. Honestly this book has given me so much insight and a new “eye” to look through. And the simple logic through it all just seems to blow my mind just because of how simple yet awesome, as described in the book, it is.

I completely understand and agree with what you wrote. these questions don’t need to be answered necessarily, but to ask yourself those questions means that your day will be spent focusing on being happy instead of relying on other people or things to do that for you. Reach for your truth. Thank you.
