So currently in my life I’m in finals week and it is my last week at my current school.
I’m transferring colleges (to an art school for my major in psychology) and I’m so excited.
I’m a sophomore and this was a decision I thought long and hard about and I really want to go to this school.
The only thing I’m worried about is change, and second guessing if this is right. I’m going to be commuting, and I worry what if I hate driving everyday? I have made a best friend at this school who lives a half hour from my house… but what if I dont make new friends as close as I am with her? What if I dont see her often?
I know these are many things I can control.. but life gets so hectic and sometimes poses many challenges at once. And though I love this new school and I want to embrace this change, since I chose it whole heartedly… I’m just scared. Anyone have some enlightenment on how to get over this? Anyone do something similar?
@ninaweena, One wise statement I’ve learned from High Existence is to resist nothing. If you think the most important decision you made is a good decision, everything else will work out. Embrace change and don’t be afraid of it. Change is how you can learn more about what you truly want, and more importantly how you can learn more about yourself.
