Fake boobs

Anonymous (@) 8 years, 7 months ago

Can any guy honestly say he has any respect for a women with fake boobs?

Can any women honestly say they expect respect after making the decision to acquire men impressing aspects?

Does anyone else feel really strongly against this?

(I “do it for me” comments – not welcome, only causes further frustration)

@manimal, I don’t know what it’s like to not be able to comfortably express emotion without being labeled a “pussy” and being told to man up. I wasn’t undermining the struggles of being a male, just pointing out a completely different set of societal pressure(yes it exists) that females deal with. Obviously one does not have to succumb to that shit, but when you’re young and impressionable, it’s going to affect you. Once you become aware, it becomes a choice.

@patrickparish, lol. Seriously though, why get all worked up over what someone is doing to their own body?

@patrickparish, stop judging women for decisions they make. Stop judging all together. If they’re not hurting anyone else then why should it piss you off or why would you not have respect for someone because of that.

You don’t know why they got them do you. What they had to deal with growing up; people making fun of them for having small tits or them having to see men gauking at women with huge tits (real or not).

What if you had a nose like someone from whoville? Or a micropenis? Or something you felt was a defect. Do you think you would make it through life without at least contemplating on fixing that. Doubtful.

So yes I respect women to make their own decisions. If they want fake tits so be it. If not fine.

@patrickparish, and how about the women that get fake boobs after getting theirs cut off from surgery to remove breast cancer? Do you not have respect for them either?

@tangledupinplaid21, no one occasion has caused frustration, i have experienced sadness when a friend has expressed interest in having the surgery.. but yeah much greater feelings of regret than frustration :)

I see nothing wrong with fake boobs. I think there are people who like them and people who don’t. That’s a personal choice and ultimately it doesn’t affect anyone.

@reinvented2012, you don’t need an answer to that really do you! @reinvented2012, im not criticizing anyone! Each to their own, my own being that such shallow mindsets are depressing!

Even with a deformed nose, a “micropenis” and a third thumb I would only be dissapointed that others opinions are formulated by such meaningless aspects! I would continue to be happy, as i am with the number of aspects of my physique and/or character that wouldn’t qualify me for the front cover of a bull shit magazine..

more fun examples similar to breast implants, some guys inject saline solution or something like that into their scrotums to make them larger….*gags*

indeed, if a person bases their self-esteem on how they look, well thats not good

Josh (213) (@reinvented2012) 8 years, 7 months ago ago

@patrickparish, I see what you underlying feeling are that shallowness is depressing and I agree. It’s hard for those girls though to not be affected by opinions of others, stereotypes of women, expectation set on them by mainstream media and entertainment industries. It’s much easier however for us to judge them for getting them than to look at the underlying factors that made them feel they needed them.

Our society in general is very shallow and based on material possessions, physical connections and looks rather than spiritual and emotional connections, personality and wisdom.

That is all. I think after all this we can both agree to each their own. I could really care if someone has them or not.

I love fake tits! they’re so symmetrical. It’s a form of art for me. If you are against fake boobs you should be against make-up, piercings, tattoos. I don’t know why you’re looking down so much on this one body modification when people change themselves all the time. You are stuck in the societal dogma that fake tits make a girl dirty or unclean.

@tangledupinplaid21, Stop expressing emotions, pussy, man the fuck up.
Now you know what it’s like, not too bad is it?
Pressure is pressure, people will always have stupid expectations. We all know what it’s like to be on the receiving end of that shit.

Young and impressionable minds cannot resist this false pressure? Then please explain how there are so many kids that are different from the norm…

And yknow what? I’ve never heard of anyone demanding/expecting that a woman should get fake tits. Have you?

@manimal, if I were a young boy yes that would affect me greatly. Even not being told something overtly such a “man the fuck up pussy” or “get breast implants”, but being SHOWN what is acceptable through other people, how your parents act, and what is shown as desirable, would and did affect my psychology. I didn’t get boobs till I was 16 and before that I got called flat chested a lot, that affected me a lot, I was extremely insecure, just as many young girls are now. Some crazy percentage, I think it’s 83% of girls do not like their bodies. This is the result of being shown what is desirable and what isn’t. It’s also the result of more extreme examples such as people’s parents telling them the way they are sucks. So no, people aren’t forcing anyone into implants, or repressing emotions, it’s usually more subtle than that, but it DEFINITELY exists, and one only needs to look at the high levels of neuroticism and insecurity to see that. And once again, you can work around that once you become conscious of it. Yes, pressure is pressure, as an adult I see that, but I didn’t always see that, and I sympathize with people who are affected by it. And if you don’t, well, agree to disagree :P

@tangledupinplaid21, “I think it’s 83% of girls do not like their bodies. This is the result of being shown what is desirable and what isn’t.”

I don’t think they are showing what is desirable. I think they are creating an idea of what is desirable that some adopt. Some people are brought up in an environment (trying to speak broadly) that results in their awareness&concern for all forms of popular culture being much less than someone with a more common up bringing. I do not mean to speak offensively when I say common Im simply referring to what I have observed most frequently.

My hatred and frustration is not generated by the people adopting the ideas displayed in popular culture I guess its the people “winning” out of the situation making all the $$$ :/

Still, fuck any bitch with fake tits!

Can any guy honestly say he has any respect for a women with fake boobs?
Yes, people make mistakes. I think everyone has done something that wasn’t the best choice for them out of insecurity.

Can any women honestly say they expect respect after making the decision to acquire men impressing aspects?
You can expect respect after doing pretty much anything is life, I’m sure most women expect it with fake tits. People make their own choices, if it doesn’t harm you get over it.

Does anyone else feel really strongly against this?
Yes, I know someone who got cancer from fake tits. They are harmful to the body.

People do dumb shit for attention and self improvement. I’ve done everything from taking drugs to help focus to steroids to get stronger. Was it stupid? Yes. Do I do it anymore? No. Do I expect respect despite stupid decisions? Yes. Would I not respect or not sleep with a girl because of fake tits? No. People are constantly figuring this this crazy fucking thing called life out, no one is perfect, don’t hate.

@tangledupinplaid21, you will love your body and your tits all your life ellie
if you have kids and breast feed them then you will be greatful for them as they did that wonderufl miraculous job.
and not mind if they sag. even boobs that dont feed kids sag. it is normal.
gravity takes its toll

we need to as women appreciate and respect our own bodies, and if men dont like the way that we look. and cant appreciate us in what even state we are in, then too bad for them!!

I have a brilliant perspective. Most women that love themselves enough would consider their own bodies a fetish. Autoerotic habits are also mutual, because when a person loves themselves enough they’d be more attractive and influence by an example people that don’t love themselves that much. Which comes down to being loved for however you are. In a lot of ways people that always look for some improvement will be less satisfied than those comfortable with their nature, and self-satisfaction attracts more than following known social models, because it becomes a model.

Now let’s talk about fake dicks. Are they gross? Can you blame them? And how can you really blame a dick? You must be so insensitive.

I hate fake people, really. I have nothing against emphasized beauty.

@tangledupinplaid21, People don’t show you what is acceptable and desirable, they show you their opinion. Not only that, but there’s a huge difference between the stuff said in fiction, advertising, random banter; and what people actually value.
All this shit that people think will make them happy and impress people.. won’t, it’s just a silly fantasy. Especially all this stuff about “what the guys like” and “what the ladies like.”

If a chest is flat, it’s flat. The “connection” between that and insecurity is a quantum leap. Really. A crazy rationalization.

It’s funny that you should say 83% seeing how that’s traditionally the exact percentage most commonly used when people make up statistics out of thin air.
A lot of girls are insecure and dissatisfied with their bodies, but these girls are generally insecure and dissatisfied with just about everything.
This is not a matter of “what is desirable” but a legitimate case of cluster B personality disorders.

There’s a lot of guys who are not happy with their bodies. Just go to a gym, have a look. Just go to an internet forum, have a look. They’re everywhere. They just don’t whine as much and don’t get as much media attention. Not because they were told to “man up,” but because they aren’t histrionic drama queens.
Tiny boobs don’t make a difference, tiny dick makes a lot of difference.

This is not a fucking gender-specific problem.

One second you say you don’t know what it’s like for guys, the next second you claim to know how you’d reacted had you been one. That doesn’t add up.

And I repeat the following question again:
If young, impressionable minds are so defenceless against this bullshit… how come there are so many kids that don’t suffer from these pseudo-issues? Hmm?
And don’t blame it on awareness vs unawareness, that just doesn’t add up, there’s plenty of hazy dull people out there who never submit to this “pressure.”

People like to play victim, people like to point fingers… but shitty beliefs are just shitty beliefs, made by and within the very mind that holds them.
The more you blame, the more stuck you get. The more you coddle, the more you cripple.

The main reason people are so obsessed with looks? Because they never do anything worthwhile, never face real challenges, never get put to the test on real values, so they make up all this bullshit.
If these insecure girls would just DO something real and worthwhile, they would forget their silly issues.
Idle hands are the devil’s workshop, and most girls’ hands are incessantly idle

@patrickparish, Breast enhancement surgery is based on self-image which, despite whatever you say in defense of it, is a socially-constructed idea. Drastically altering your body to support a certain self image is an action caused by your idea of the way people perceive you and is not independent of your want for attention. Would a woman, or man for that matter, without a mirror, without a modern society to walk around in and be affected by, give a thought to their appearance? People often forget that almost everything they think about themselves is due to their mindset about other people’s opinions. Am I smart? Dumb? Attractive? Healthy? Cultured? In the loop? Stylish, on time, important, successful, good? These ideas derive directly from society and are the major drives behind self image. If a woman gets breast enhancement it is to please others, not herself.
