So while walking home from work, a guy in a car dropped his iphone out of the window. He couldnt stop to get it back ( busy street ) and the phone got ran over a couple times. When I crossed the street, I took it and looked to see if its owner was nearby to get it back, but I couldnt see him anywhere so I took it home. Surprisingly, it still works ( even tough locked ).The guy looked like a wealthy business man and drove a REALLY costy sport car.Would you keep the phone? Im pretty sure I wont keep it, even tough a part of me wants to.Just curious to hear everyones opinion on this. Have a nice day!
@comanche, in spite of me being on the other side of the class war, I think I would return it. Keeping it just doesn’t seem nice or honest, and if you start compromising that part of you, sooner or later you become just like the people you despise. I think giving it back would be the right thing to do.
This is just me, but if this was me I would make a small (small but noticeable) sign that says something along the lines of “if you were the guy that dropped your iPhone here recently and you were driving a really nice sports car, and you want it back, call the phone and I’ll answer it and we can meet up so you can have it back.” lol maybe include the exact kind or color of car if you noticed so when they call you, if it is the legit guy he would know what car he was driving. Weeds out imposters.
This is probably all way too much trouble and slightly naive, but… I would do it haha
