Hey dudes and dudettes,
I’m really interested to see how many of you awesome people live in Melbourne (I can’t imagine there will be too many). The reason i ask is because i’m really keen on meeting up with some like-minded people from my area to exchange and discuss interesting ideas and to expand my social boundaries.

funny..I just joined here 1 minute ago having googled something about the Universe and was wondering if other Melburnians would be here. LOL. I don’t notice many in the “real” world..really.

I’m originally from Inner-City Sydney, I live in the Kimberley now. Thinking of moving to Fitzroy or Collingwood when I choose to go back to the smoke. I’m a big fan of Melbourne.

Give me Lord of the Fries, Trams and Federation Square. It’s a great city.

Hey Jake… Melbourne’s definitely a different pace to Sydney :) Alot of beauty in the Kimberleys ( I lived for a while in the dreaded Wittenoom as a child and never forgot how awesome the Kimberleys are.)

well, I guess it’s good to know that if THREE of us have popped on here in the last hour, there must be many more in Melbourne. Maybe we need a tattoo on our foreheads to recognize eachother ;)

It’s good to see there are a couple of us!
I agree Jake, I really love the architecture in Fitzroy there’s just something about it that makes me warm and fuzzy inside haha. Melbourne is a very liveable city, I think it may have even been dubbed the worlds most liveable city at one point but don’t quote me on it lol. I love the diversity in Melbourne, it’s very multicultural and produces some amazing art too! I actually live on the Mornington Peninsula and I only really go into Melbourne to see gigs or eat quality food these days. I’ve always wanted to visit The Kimberley! How do you like living out there? It must be amazing.

Haha any ideas for a forehead tattoo design Riane? ;)

@quazaar, Google ‘Mulan Aboriginal Community’. That’s where I live, so it’s just a wee bit different from Sydney lol. It’s in the middle of the Tanami Desert, 16 hours drive from Darwin, about the same from Perth.

Couldn’t agree more with what you said about Melbourne. I’ve always said that a mixture between Sydney’s body and Melbourne’s brains in a city would be the best. They both have a lot to offer.

@riane, The closest town to me is Halls Creek (Hells Crack or Balls Reek as some of the locals refer to it. I don’t mind it however). It’s 4 hours away. I’m right down in the remote part.

@quazaar and @jakehay Hi you guys, nice to get a bit of thread going in our part of the world (or the Twilight Zone where Jake is!) If I had to have an “awake” tattoo on my forehead it would be “11:11” as it has been happening for most of the people I know who are aware that it IS wake up time. (We start seeing 11s everywhere and discover how it’s been in our lives in amazing ways… I wonder if you guys are getting this too, and repeat number line ups, waking up at 11:11 or always 11 past hour etc?). I joined 11:11 Awakening Code on facebook too as this is a worldwide happening and all a bout uniting in our oneness of growth. Best wishes to you two. Riane
PS, yes, Fitzroy is amazing with funky architecture. I live in Albert Park and adore the gracious old homes and little cottages. Melbourne’s been voted twice recently as most livable.

@jakehay, Woah that looks amazing, it’s so remote! haha just a tad different from Sydney! Are you out there for work or just on a journey of some kind?
I agree, Sydney has a lot to offer, it’s a great city.

@riane, Hi Riane, about 2 or 3 years ago when i was going through my initial awakening period i was seeing many different combinations of numbers including 11:11, these days i don’t see the numbers anymore. I don’t really know what the numbers symbolise or represent but i have certainly heard of many people who have experienced the same thing that you’re talking about. I remember looking up a few different things at the time, some people believe it’s a spirit guardian making itself known to you, and there are a few other psuedo-scientific explanations online. My personal opinion on the subject is that people look at clocks all the time (no pun intended) and don’t see 11:11 or 12:12 or whatever it may be, i think it’s just a case of looking at the time and noticing 11:11 as a stand out number and so whenever you see it around you associate it as being something special or of some significance, whereas if you were to look at the clock and see 2:48 you wouldn’t think anything of it, therefore it’s not as significant in your mind. I’m struggling to explain myself as i’m pressed for time at the moment haha but i don’t claim to know any absolute truth on this matter! and i’m always open to a discussion to help me broaden my knowledge on the subject :)
Albert Park is great place! Such a good park to walk around and clear the head!

@quazaar I’ve learnt to see 11, 11:11 etc as an attention-getter really as I was actually waking up in the night (often!) and it would be 11:11… or arriving at the lift to find both lifts on 11th floor and the time at 11:11.. too often to be coincidence..so it got me (and my ex partner) to look much further at what this “could” mean. It’s helped me realise we are definitely not alone and that Higher Power/Source/the Universe/God/Angels… are calling us to be better and more connected to truth and awakened types of peoples :)

@riane, Sorry for the late reply, busy busy!
I don’t doubt that it has a certain power for some people, it certainly got my attention at one point too! But these days I don’t have to think about being enlightened or awakened, everyday I just feel in my core that I am on the right path and the universe never ceases to amaze me with her ability to make everything fit perfectly in place for me. I feel as though my life is much more directed now which in turn puts me at ease and feeling content, whereas before I felt very insignificant and lost due to the fact that I didn’t have a clear vision of myself and the way I wanted to live in this crazy world!

Anyway sorry for rambling what I really wanted to say is that the Grand Source/God/Angels or whatever you choose to call it, it’s all the same thing just interpreted in different ways. Which is why it’s all the more tragic that people actually KILL one another because they think their interpretation is the only interpretation worth living by. The sooner everybody wakes up and pulls their heads out of their backsides, the better off everyone will be!

Peace :)

@quazaar, A bit of both. I’m technically up here for work, but I’m working here for the journey… if you get my drift lol.

@riane, Twilight Zone lol. I love it.

Riane (2) (@Riane) 8 years ago ago

@quazaar Oh, don’t worry, I totally agree that it has just woken me up to exactly as you’re experiencing now, effortlessly really..and staying “in it” without needing any reminders :) I too am appalled at what religions have done and generally the harm man has done to man in general for too long (let alone what these “people” think they can put animals thru!!)
Enjoy keeping at creating the life you see and believe- must be wonderful on the Peninsula as it’s always been a favourite place of mine to visualise that self-sufficient little hobby harm.. Heaven! @jakehay I wonder when you’re escaping the desolation on the NW? Do you like Perth? My family are there and I love the place..and the lifestlye…just not sure I can give up what I have here just yet. Regards to you both out there.
