G’day my first post here. Just curious as to what forms of mediation everyone uses. For me it depends on my mood but even the simplicity of immersing myself in nature such as gardening. If the weather does not permit I like to use audio… guided mediation. Being highly strung and forever inside my own head I do find it difficult to meditate without some form of aid even if it is just a walk in the park (no pun intended).
So what works for you? I’d love to get some different ideas/techniques to try out.
I like that josephm “each step I take” I read this response yesterday but wanted to let it marinate in my mind a little before responding and since then I have found myself feeling the form and movement of my body as I tend to my day to day tasks. Thank you for making me aware of this :)
I just stay awake at nighttime and then wake up. I also love garlic and my vampire brotherhood is scared.
It’s about reaction to natural events, the way you listen to rain or wind, not sleeping at night but in deep focus when it’s more comfortable to listen to your mind, and if you keep doing that for twenty years your nose and ears grow big. You’ll become a mutant, also known as adult with undulated perspicacious sensitivity and full of shit.
Oh Marlon garlic, I can not get enough of it. “reaction to natural events” I guess I did not think of sitting on my patio pondering the meaning of life while the rain softly spills onto my garden beds a form of meditation. It seems I am pretty much meditating all the time and until now totally unaware of it :)
i have been walking a learning shore myself or sort. with what works for me, in order to really “tune” into myself vibrations and harmonies.. Starting off, I too looked towards guided meditations, but also found my self always in a thought about thinking, or thinking, to try thinking about not thinking… etc. One thing or form of audio that i found was playing maybe two different binary beats or ISO cryonic beats. essentially using different frequencies of sound that the brain hears and actually can stimulate parts of the brain. Using different alpha, delta, gamma wave frequencies can produce or have certain effects the body can feel and relate to, therefore allowing the majority of your heads thinking to turn on and dance with the stimulation and focus of harmonizing first your thoughts, and then your body, mood, emotions, and sit at rest with thy self. now alot of the time i would play a third softy in the background of a speech like Allan watts perhaps that would trend where my energy would allow to sit in my head, feein and grasping a beginning faint outline of how it connects to my life… ete
ultimately the speech will end, tomes still going.. i found my head like moving back and forth with the frequencies as it registered in one ear and the other and bounced back and forth through the two lower lobes of my brain on the back of my skull. like down near the neck line.. and i would just talk to myself in this harmony.. a consistent flow that is all around us allowing myself to place y inner thoughts, wishes, diereses , and with every revisit gain more roots in understanding allowing myself to radiate or transmit my intuitions wishes desires of what i would like to create with in the universe to attract and become possible for me to achieve the more i spend time in thee thought of actually feeling the experience of obtaining such direction.. therefore placing my thoughts in harmonic frequencies with understanding of connections of relevant philosophic or spiritual understatements and awareness, that my thoughts are actually creating what i am putting out there for the universe and my slow third dimension body to catch up to only able to manifest such destinations step by step day by day, thought by thought…. so yeah.. if you wish i can put together a playlist of certain tracks or clips that really let me “tune” into my meditations. Also i found when it seem meditations was just not gunna work but still wanted to spend time in self, i would watch or read alot about sound or music, different types of wave lengths inside the spectrum of sound vs light. geometry, sacred geometry, the golden ration and how they all connect in this magical way that start to unlock an loose grip potential for understanding our-self, creation, the universe, and its dimensions and how our conscious has the ability to tap into there branches of knowledge for realms that beyond even the entire history of science fiction stories or plots once started as thought but manifested into a creation for our minds to read see and entertain even further limits for that that and creation to evolve or manifest to.. yada yahday. GO PLEIADIANS! thank you star cousins for aiding the unblocking of certain factors or perspectives that kept my ascending into awakening of a higher truer self me once i acknowledged them that factors indeed blocking or remaining in my way,. All aid in clarity for ones path is much appreciated

Definitely food for thoughts here and a few hours of research which I will follow up on, especially the alpha, delta, gamma wave frequencies. I do like the idea of putting together a play list too. Most of the self guided audio tracks that I have listened to go for no more than 20 minutes where I find myself wanting more. Cheers for this :)
no problem my friend, it was a great question, so thank you for asking and letting myself think over the process that reall vibes and harmonies my comfort in the practice of something rather new. Its rather a tdchnique that really only the right teach can offer you the means to the answer your own self equation, and how it adds into the mathmatical puzzle of everyone, us, and this. The beauty is when you start to realize that you, our self, or I am thy best professor for the test.

Ive found many times putting the energy out that I wish to attract, opens the path for it to come forth. I was also gunna say something about breathing when you meditate is rather important. deep inhales, breathing with your noes down into your stomach, and picturing in your minds eye your trying to fill your entire body with this concentrated calmness, that travels down your spine and branching out into every nerve system like LA traffic jammed moving at light speed, filling and feeding each cell the new light filled breaths can bring to each land of tissue in your body, to grow or repair areas that might need just alittle more water and cre in your garden of thy templed minds body. kinda like a tree, and its root system searching the soils and atmosphere for all the photonic and nutriongenic thoughts in peace it needs to grow and expands its leafs.
