@kidvisions, Step 1: Don’t.

@kidvisions, The US is overrated, and can be harsh to foreigners depending on where you move to. I suggest doing more research before making a decision like that. Consider factors such as your plans for money, spirituality, family, climate, etc. England and Canada are both wonderful countries to consider, with looser immigration laws. Also, becoming a citizen in Canada is ridiculously easy, so if you plan on coming to America, entry through Canada would be easier.

It is a vast toxic environment do not consider moving here

@kidvisions, The United States have given so much to so many people. It has given impoverished immigrants the tools to build a solid, meaningful,and successful life. It is a great place to live-never mind what these people say about it being “toxic”. The only thing in this country that is toxic are the looters and high-tax pushers.

Canada, Canada, Canada.

@kidvisions, Really don’t. This country is the “bully” in this game. If any country is gonna go to shit first it’ll be us. That’s my paranoia talking. But also it’s just expensive and over-rated. Why do you want to move here anyways?

Australia is really the only place to live.

@jakehay, whatever. NZ. The milder, chiller, less dangerous Australia. with better desserts. and racehorses. and girls. We got Africa to #1 on the iTunes charts the other day because we needed something to do. https://fbcdn-sphotos-b-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-prn1/935686_10151502684929678_1475417723_n.jpg

This photo sums NZ up well. http://s3-ec.buzzfed.com/static/enhanced/webdr01/2013/5/16/10/enhanced-buzz-1519-1368714903-23.jpg

@kidvisions, I’m a natural citizen of the US –

my advice? Move to Canada. No seriously. Pretty similar, but the stuff that really sucks about the US is way better there.

@kidvisions, the easiest way to get to this country is through marriage. Hate to say it but it’s true :(
Europe is so much better though go there :)

@francina, ahh, NZ. But as far as I know, it is crazy hard to get a visa for NZ, isn’t it? You have a lot of foreigners?

[Hidden]
Anonymous (134) (@) 9 years ago ago

@whiteblueberry, if we have a lot of foreigners doesn’t that make it easy to get a visa?

[Hidden]
Anetuki (35) (@whiteblueberry) 9 years ago ago

@francina, that’s why I’m asking – do you have? Cuz from what I’ve heard, not many.

[Hidden]
Filip (2,818)M (@filipek) 9 years ago ago

@whiteblueberry, it depends where you are from. European do not have many problems to get a PR for NZ from what I know. In fact, a lot of them apply for a residentship for NZ in order to get into OZ more easily.

Anonymous (134) (@) 9 years ago ago

@whiteblueberry, Oh sorry, i didn’t understand.
yeah, New Zealand is almost entirely immigrants. I’m not sure how easy it is to get a Visa to here though because i’ve never needed to look into it. I think as long as you’re from a respectable country and you have a university degree / skills we need you’re usually admitted. Like @filipek said, its pretty easy for most European. Many dutch immigrated to here back in the 50’s. I think we still have a ‘mates rates’ kinda thing going with that? And obviously if you hold a british and/or australian passport then you bypass a lot of criteria.

@Pretzilstix, why not?
if you are an american, I am sorry to say this but you are americans are so spoiled, you have no idea how hard life is in other places in the world…@yourefunny, Really? I have no idea about [email protected], how to migrate there then?? I need help from my hethen friends… I need to go abroad to study for my PhD and gain experience I can help my country with. @kidvisions, If you come, have a realistic idea of what it’s like. Sure lots of Americans are fat and spoiled. Go to Hawaii if you want to go to America so bad. It’s pretty fucked up in some places here.

@kidvisions,

“if you are an american, I am sorry to say this but you are americans are so spoiled, you have no idea how hard life is in other places in the world.”

– Why is it that people throughout the world dont know shit about American lifestyle and the way the majority of us are? Oh thats right, you watch our garbage tv shows that your country feed to you, and then you assume that all Americans are this way. See, in my American upbringing, one of the first things they taught us in our American schools was to NOT judge an entire race/culture/what have you by the actions of the few. So here, we try to refrain from generalizing an entire country like you just have in that sentence.

SECONDLY, you’re wrong, even in your generalized state. Because the truth of the matter is, Americans travel far more then any other country in the world. Meaning, we go to more different places, get more cultural aspects and see more of the world then anyone else in the world. So, how in the hell can you say that we are spoiled and dont know how the rest of the world is?

THIRDLY, did you forget that USA is the most culterally diverse nation in the world? How so, then can you say we dont know about the culture and happenings of the world when we ourselves are a giant mix of the representation of the world?

As to the rest of the people bashing on America and our ways in this thread, haters gonna hate. All I know personally is this is the greatest country in the world. It took in my family from India when we had nothing, and gave us an opportunity to thrive and be successful, far beyond what was possible for us back home. It gave me one of the best educations in the world. It also gave me the freedom to create exactly the kind of life I want for myself, and allows me to live exactly how I want to. I’ve been to over 40 countries in my life, and I always come back home because I love it here, and this is home.

If you live in USA and talk trash about it, feel free to get the fuck out, and go where ever you choose to. There is a LONG list of people who want to be here that would be more then happy to take your spot.

@kidvisions, “if you are an american, I am sorry to say this but you are americans are so spoiled, you have no idea how hard life is in other places in the world…”

You just made a huge, ignorant assumption about 300 million people. Welcome to America! You’ll fit in fine.

==> I am not talking about the American lifestyle, I don’t want to follow it I have my own lifestyle and I don’t want to change it and I think that it is indeed possible to live in the US without having to eat fast food and be fat etc…
You are talking as if I only know the USA through television shows, I haven’t watched television in 2 years and I have met so many Americans who came to visit Tunisia and on the internet. I have hippie friends (aged 60+) and they told me so much about the USA.
The reason why I want to go there is because, here we don’t have the facilities that you guys have, the education that you have, the libraries that you have, etc…
I want to go to the USA because I want to study American History and culture and I want to practice my English. I want to learn about the country as much as I can.

“SECONDLY, you’re wrong, even in your generalized state. Because the truth of the matter is, Americans travel far more then any other country in the world. Meaning, we go to more different places, get more cultural aspects and see more of the world then anyone else in the world. ==>I think that a lot of Americans are indeed spoiled because they have better conditions and they keep complaining about how bad it is…
Traveling and actually LIVING in a country are two different things. Seeing poverty and experiencing it are two completely different things. My American friends who came here and lived here for more than a year admitted that life in American is so much better than here.

“THIRDLY, did you forget that USA is the most culterally diverse nation in the world? How so, then can you say we dont know about the culture and happenings of the world when we ourselves are a giant mix of the representation of the world?”
==> Ever heard of “Melting pot” and “Salad Bowl”?

“As to the rest of the people bashing on America and our ways in this thread, haters gonna hate. All I know personally is this is the greatest country in the world. I’ve been to over 40 countries in my life, and I always come back home because I love it here, and this is home.”

==> Are you sure you read what I posted in the thread? I said that I wanted to move to American because of the many good things this country has and my country does not have.

If you live in USA and talk trash about it, feel free to get the fuck out, and go where ever you choose to. There is a LONG list of people who want to be here that would be more then happy to take your spot.
==> I don’t live in the USA and I did not talk “harsh about it” I just explained facts, there are negative things about it but it’s a good country to live in I think.
Why are you talking to me this way? Why are you so agressive? I don’t even live in the USA yet!! And I haven’t said anything wrong, I just responded to someone who told me don’t move to the USA!

Hitomi (67) (@kidvisions) 9 years ago ago

@Pretzilstix, That was not my point.
My point was that I heard a lot of Americans tell me don’t come to American it’s bad it’s blablabla, and the truth is they are spoiled because they enjoy a lot of things other people don’t have and keep telling other people that they should not go to American.
No matter how bad American might be to some people, for me living there is much much better than here.
