Im a college student and i badly need time to sleep. for my busy sched, sleeping is a form of luxury so if i have a free time i always choose to sleep than party at night. however, i am always awaken up by series of incomplete astral projections and yes, i admit, im also scared of astral travel. im always having an incomplete astral travel which really scares me because, what if one day i suddenly experience a successful astral projection ?? i dont find it fascinating to see my soul out of my body and i find it even worst to see other spirits or entities like, why can’t i just sleep normally like most individuals ? why do i always go through this incomplete astral projection? WILL SOMEONE TELL ME HOW TO STOP THIS? my family thinks im just having hallucinations though im not doing drugs or any other medications. i tried looking at the internet for a solution but all i see is techniques to astral project. i really want this to stop. im being tired, frustrated, depressed and deeply scared. PLEASE HELP
I used to experience sleep/astral paralysis really often, which was great for when I wanted to astral project, but really bothersome when I just wanted to sleep. The only way I could stop them was if I played music in the background while falling asleep. I guess it distracted me or gave my mind something else to focus on.

When you have intense experiences like you describe, they are inevitably linked to your sleep cycle pressure; the more tired you are the more intense they will become, so look into these techniques so as to reduce how tired you become.
In polyphasic cycles you will actually sleep less over all, so more time for study and such, but you will not experience tiredness so intensely.
