I Weep ( yet another poem)

I weep for the person whose heart is shattered
Yet loves for the sake of others.

I weep for the person whose heart is shattered
And uses the jagged edges of misery
to draw blood.

I weep for the person whose eyes are dark with sadness
And grow darker,
And darker,
When they see that familiar shadow
In another’s eye.

I weep for the person who has been taught that to open their arms
And be ready for a loving embrace
Is not a blessing,
But a dangerous risk of betrayal.

I weep for the person who is desperate for fulfillment
And looks for it in all the wrong places

I weep for the person who has lost their sight
Who cannot see their own inner light

Each tear I shed
Is an invitation
Into my heart.
I have been each person,
Though for that I do not weep.
For my life is now a kingdom.
And I am now the king.
Only love prospers here.
Welcome, friend,
Stay as long as you like.

what do you say when this is the last time?
what can i say when backs turn on a dime?
what do i feel two steps to far in an optical illusion with no explanation but art.
sacrificial visceral intrusion.
enlightened is the darkness of the furthest conclusion.
