I will be your guru for the next 8 days.
Hello everyone of HE, it so lovely getting to talk with all of you. If you’re reading this, it is most likely because you feel as though you would like a guru, or simply someone to help guide you on your journey in this part of your life. You are always living in the now. You are only existing in the present and I don’t want any of you to ever be upset about where you’re at. You should always want to wake up, say namaste to the sunlight outside your window and breathe the air the earth gives to you without a worry in your heart or mind.
Now, I am just another individual like yourself, BUT I have spent a lot of my time helping others and I am experienced in many aspects of life. I have been sought after countless times for life advice and always seem to have a positive effect on others. I have the next 8 days off work and thought I’d take this time to help others on here as much as humanly possible. Whether that be guiding you in the right direction or reassuring you that you are on the path you are meant to take!
Think of me as a free therapist. Let it all out. Talk to me about things no one else understands. Get out of your comfort zone. Ask questions. This is a post reaching out to anyone needing any sort of guidance in any or many aspects of life. I don’t have all of the answers and my views are not the way of the world, but I do always have good intentions and I seem to help others see differently. I will do my best to make you feel more at peace after we’ve talked.
DO NOT forget the high vibrational being that you are! You are not of this body that you temporarily occupy. Life is too short to be at war with yourself, your mind, your heart, or your own kind. Whatever you are, or find yourself becoming, be a good one. Sometimes, it really does feel great to be lost in the right direction. And sometimes, you need a little help to get there. Which is precisely what I am here to do. xx
The last two nights, while meditating and opening my chakras, I was letting my mind wander when there was a loud pop in my head and I heard an odd electrical noise (almost like a door spring noise speed up and electrified). It startled me quite a bit and I could not remember what I was thinking about in the least. The first one, I feel like I almost heard a word or some kind of talking when it reverberated in my body.
I’ve meditated for 5 years and practiced crystal therapy on myself for 4 and 1 year on others, but I’ve been studying on my own for the last 2 years without any guidance, so any advice would be helpful.
@mrbates23, Here’s a thought that helps me, I hope the metaphor can help.
Let’s pretend your a talented artist, you paint, draw, and sculpt. Your great at it and have access to all the materials/techniques you need, nothing limits you in your creation.
What are you painting, drawing, and sculpting? Is it a thing? An emotion? An Idea?
What kind of emotions does this art bring to your mind? Is your artwork to make a change in the world? Why is it your artwork does for other people?
Let your mind wander a bit and imagine what you would create as an artist, and imagine your always getting positive results for your work.
Don’t keep reading unless you imagined a bit.
I’m an artist myself, but I really enjoy philosophy, metaphysics, and mind mapping. Yes, Art is my passion, but really it is just an expression of other Passions. I practice energy work, and crystal therapy, so it reflects in my artwork. I like comedy and metaphors, it reflects in my art. The way you live your life is an extension of your Art, and it doesn’t have to be a visual art.
So whatever you imagined yourself creating, is a metaphor for what you want to do. If your artwork is about cars, you should work with them, if you like animals, do the same. If its about an emotion, then how can you help people with that emotion (through a job)?
Take some General Education classes at first and try experimenting with things you like to do, you gotta find your Passion first, before you can live it.
I had a discussion with my coworkers the other day about material possessions. One of them was telling us about how, although she she is content with her simple life, she craves nice things like manicures and nice toys for her child. My other coworker said that the reason for this craving is all of the commercials we’re used to seeing/marketing being pushed in our faces all the time (I’m us the U.S.) and I completely agree.
I know I already have more than I actually NEED, but I too, get the craving for money and nice things. I know what I should be focused on is making a difference in the world doing what I love, but I can’t help but think of all the generous and helpful things I could do if I had a sum of wealth.
Suggestions for dealing with these sorts of thoughts?
@mrbates23, I don’t think jumping into a career choice is necessary. I’m glad you’re going to college thopugh, that will help you see what others are studying and see all of the options around you. The first two years or so are pretty basic any way. But don’t feel like you need to chose right away. Id something doesn’t come to mind right away when you think “what do I want to do with my life” that means you should wait. If you think of things that seem interesting then investigate! Also, if you go to a college that is generally ‘your type’ in the sense of things you enjoy learning about, you can talk to them about what you’re interested in and they can help you find what’s best for you. me, for example, I love plants, and humans, and our interaction with nature so I could go to school for ethnobotany and understand better how we both interact with each other. SO i guess the answer to your question is think about things you already love doing, and find out how you can put that into a profession. Don’t feel pressured to jump into college. Some people wait a long long time before they go, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.
@rossbusby, Wow that is absolutely wonderful to hear!! I, myself, would love to learn more about crystals and such. I meditate and have a few around that are for general healing or to help with certain chakras but I never did much investigation on them though I’ve always wanted to. I guess I have no excuse, I should start learning! But I am just as lost as you on this. I don’t feel as though it’s anything bad. I infact thing it’s a wonderful thing that you did. What are your theories on what it was? perhaps a literal door in your mind you opened? A door to another dimension? Do you believe multiple dimensions exist at once? we all live together yet, can only see what is in ours?
@sunshine-daydream, Oh sweetheart we are living in a world of consumption! I am so happy you’re trying to escape, but sadly, it will always be around you. The thing with people now is that they look at their life, in their little box of a home and think they need more when actually they need to get outside of their box and see that the world has WAY more to offer than they could ever imagine buying. You cannot buy the experiences you’ll live when you go out into the wild or go to a beautiful new place. Yes, it costs money to fly somewhere exotic, stay in a nice foreign place, and spending money is inevitable, the trick is knowing when it’s worth it.
When you say your friend wanted nice toys for her child, the nicest thing she can give him/her is the sense of wonder they’ll get by exploring not only the outdoors, but their own mind. A funny story from my life is that my parents let me say lots of words kids my age weren’t allowed to say BUT i was not, under any circumstance, allowed to say I was bored. My dad would get soo mad and say “god damnit child go outside and breathe the fresh air! See the world around you! Mother nature is the most exciting thing!” and to this day, I never say that I’m bored because I feel guilty thinking of all the wonderful things I could do if I only allow myself to break free of the consumer way of thinking.
@josephm, I have tarot cards at home I’d let you use if you were here! The trick with mine is that we have a crystal you have to hold and channel your energy into. By doing this, when you chose the card that will answer the question in your soul, you will always pick the right one.
@kokujin, I do not ever advise smoking cigarettes, marijuana however is perfectly fine unless its somehow negatively effecting your life. Same with drinking. If you can handle it, and you enjoy it, I see no reason why you should stop unless you’re worried about your health.
Could the aggression be more deeply rooted? What type of aggression are you expressing?
and haa, I’m not sure, let me know when you’ve found the answer.
I think I have depression of some sort, I have loads of problems such as my speaking, my words come out jumbled, my mind goes somewhere else and I fail with women of course. I have no clue why, I am either retarded or have social anxiety, which comes to another point, I haven’t got many friends because I feel they are all trying so hard to be someone else or show off some how, so I just stay quiet in social settings and think what the hell is wrong with people these days, then I go into a deep trance of nothingness. I don’t seem to get along with people as they are too mainstream. Sometimes I just want to cry but don’t because that’s for wimps, then I pull my self together.
Just to clarify I used to be 40kg fatter 4 years ago which means I was bullied a lot and humiliated in school, I have never aced any exams, so since high school ended, I have been trying to improve myself from physical to mental. I don’t drink or do drugs, however I drink tea a lot.
All I need from you is to guide me, I don’t want to seem selfish by asking you this. I feel guilty posting this anyway I always think I am no worthy of any social communication. Tell me do I need help from doctors, etc…
@hozir, Don’t get upset, but this made me smile. You are a beautiful person and I experienced all of these things you have. So right now, I feel as though I should give you all of the advice I give myself.
I have found from my own experience, meditating helps me more than anything else. Some people think it’s silly, but it really has changed my life. I started at a very young age and I don’t think I’d be as level headed to this day if I didn’t have it. I also smoke a decent amount and this has made it easier for me to be at ease when being put in social situations. It doesn’t really make me a better socializer, it just makes me more of myself because it tends to let me be a little more outgoing when necessary. I don’t advise you to start smoking if you don’t already. I hated it at first so you could be that way too.
People are very strange. They’re hard to understand when you can barely even understand yourself. They don’t make sense and they don’t seem real. They seem like they’re trying so hard to be who they see themselves as. Do you agree? Well, you have to change your way of how you view them. They’re trying to be something. Everyone is so desperately searching for who they are. Some find it sooner than others, some never really know and spend their lives in phases. Do you know who you are? Perhaps you know what you are not and that is why you cant socialize well. You are not them, you are a very unique individual! Believe in yourself and who you are becoming. Don’t put yourself down and think something is ‘wrong’ with you. I went through years of that feeling and once I accepted some day, someone will love this crazy person that I am, I’ve been much happier.
I cannot tell you how much like me you are.. Crying is not for the weak by any means. Cry, let it all out. Then meditate, calm yourself, and try and think about WHY you are crying. Don’t blame it on meaningless little things that happened, try and see if it is a deeply rooted problem. Something you wouldn’t have even notice until you looked inward.
Some depression can be something more out of your control. A chemical imbalance in your brain that, no matter how hard you try, you cant handle yourself. SO if you feel as though it is really out of your hands, you should seek a doctor just for the sake of your safety then maybe down the road, you can try it again on your own. This should be your last resort though. Helping yourself feels way better, I promise. If you want to send me a personal message so you can be more personal, that’s perfectly fine. xx
@josephm, its a simple white quartz, which is a power stone. It’s also called a universal crystal because it has so many uses. It enhances energy by absorbing, storing, amplifying, balancing, focusing and transmitting. It channels all universal energy and also enhances thoughts as they are a form of energy. Because it directs and amplifies energy, it is really beneficial for healing, meditation, protection, and channeling energy for things such as tarot car readings etc :)
