Do you have any creative ideas for a movie or tv show that you would love to see made, but don’t exist yet? If so, post your ideas here. Who knows, maybe somebody will pick up on it.

@oreilly, A dating reality show called “Attracting Opposites.” A guy or girl is set up on a blind date with somebody who is the antithesis of their personality.

Examples: A computer programmer geek guy is set up with a cheerleading coach or dance instructor. A political activist is set up with a cop. A burly forest ranger or lumberjack is set up with a chic fashion designer. A corporate business shark with a grocery store bagger.

For the most part, the dates would probably be train wrecks, but every now and then you’d have a couple that’d make sparks fly.

@oreilly, I would want my own show. “Reality shows” portray people very deferentially than the average person lives these days. So I want to create a true Reality Show. Hidden camera on me, no camera crew. The show would consist of me interacting with people from all walks of life. I would explore the world that I live in. I would not necessarily travel all the time, but continue on with my present way of life at least for a while. The show would allow me to reveal how I view the many different aspects of the world we live in.

Every week we would put together an hour long show on what I did the past week. I’m pretty sure the show would win some awards and be more popular than Jersey Shore. I do some really cool shit, and most of it would be suitable for families to watch. I guess we would have to film for a year or so then air it. But i think its a cool idea, lets hear yours…

I had the idea awhile ago to create a comedy tv show about a guy with a holodeck. Him and his best friend spend all their free time messing around on this holodeck playing their favorite game “Grand Theft Auto”. Since its a holodeck program, they get to pretty much play GTA in real life.

To them, this is just a game. They have amusing conversations about mundane topics, all the while running around carjacking and killing without remorse. Meanwhile, unbeknownst to them, the characters in the game actually have real feelings about what they are doing. Everyone is completely terrified of them, and there are very real consequences to the characters of this game they are playing, even though these consequences are limited to the realm of the holodeck.

I’d have a character whose trying to kill them for good, but cant figure out how, since everytime they die, they just wind up back at the hospital and start all over again. A cop who can’t believe how messed up and corrupt the justice system is in his world, wondering why someone whose killed so many cops just winds up back on the streets with no weapons and a little less money. Various criminal underworld types of figures who send the two guys out on missions. From there, I would just come up with various ways for them to interact. Its basically a way for people to look at all the peripheral characters in a video game that makes them just as real as the heroes, even though many of them would just be the mindless generic types of people you would interact with in a video game.

Also, as a kind of side character; and since this is a society where people have holodecks; lets be honest about what they would really be used for. I was going to have the two main characters have a friend who spends all of his time in the holodeck carrying out various deviant sex acts with a bizarre range of partners, just to make the show that much funnier.

I know its a messed up premise for a tv show, but I think that if its done right, it could be hilarious.
